In a bustling city, this hotel was a serene oasis; the rooms were spacious, the food delectable, and the spa? Absolute heaven. Me and hubby stayed here for our 5 year wedding anniversary for 3 days and it was absolutely amazing, everything they have is reusable or recyclable, if they’re lobby dishes! We were so comfortable we didn’t want to leave. We truly enjoyed our stay and will be coming back maybe even to their other locations. If you are looking for a place to stay that is sustainable and comfortable this is definitely a great choice, I fully recommend. Also the staff is fantastic, they are very sweet and helpful and this hotel just shows a genuine care for its guests and the earth! ❤️🥰. THANK YOU SO MUCH SCP!!!!!

The outside of the place does not entirely match the inside which was an awesome surprise and shock, the front desk was super helpful and had lots of extra amenities from gym to pool to lounge to game area. Even a little shopping mart for small good items. Its super close to lots of Colorado Springs hikes, down town, and general area. The rooms were beautiful and felt like a lovely get away retreat. Would return here again!

Stayed here two nights for a family gathering. It's a 30-40 (guessing) year old property and shows it's age. There's been an attempt to revive it with a "environmentally friendly" theme which is just a marketing scheme to sell a worn out facility and provide minimal services and upkeep. Rehab efforts would have been more effective if done professionally rather than on the cheap. Think poorly done "steam punk."||We arrived earlier than the 4:00 PM check in, but the clerk said the room was ready, so for $45 we could check in early. No thanks. The bathroom door is a crooked barn door affair than provides minimal privacy. Two of the three lights above the beds worked-the other one didn't have quite long enough cord to reach the outlet, so it had been spliced and the splice wrapped with electrical tape. I suspect the fire marshal would object, especially because it would have to run under the bed. We didn't plug it in. The one chair was from a used furniture shop and showed it. There was a strong musty smell as we entered the room. ||Going elsewhere was not an option under out booking arrangement so we figured WTH, it's only for two night. In it's favor, the bed was fine.||Overall, a pretty stark, cold place.

Nice updated rooms! The vibe is chill and easy going. Love their motto and Every day you stay helps plant a tree! Awesome cause and nice place to stay!

We stayed for only a night but I was impressed with the hotel and the entire space. I am delighted to see an old motel made over into a place that is as comfortable and well designed as SCP. We took advantage of the pool and enjoyed the common space with games and seating. The store was well equipped to meet a travelers needs and the work spaces, meeting and quiet rooms were so inviting that I was almost sorry to be on vacation rather than working from the hotel. The design is clean and modern. It felt a little spartan, but I like that. The beds were comfortable! The hotel is family and pet friendly, but it also great for adults traveling alone or in groups. The location is convenient, though there isn't much in the immediate vicinity. You will probably have a car anyway so it doesn't matter. Great amenities, friendly staff, good location and great pricing come together. I will stay again and recommend SCP to friends and family.

My family and I had just got to Colorado Springs from driving 13+ hours from North Dakota. The pictures looked amazing. It was pet friendly which was nice because we have our dog with. We got to the hotel and realized it was just an old renovated motel which was kind of off putting. Then we started nit picking everything. But, we went inside and gave this place the benefit of the doubt because we were tired af and it looked decent for the area. Got to the front desk and asked if they had rooms available and about the prices. My husband is a reward member through work and stays out of town often, so the rooms are cheaper than what is advertised (being a rewards member). First, the guy told us the room was $116 for the night. Which is fine, but with my husband's rewards, it was $62. To get the room, we could either pay the 116 and get the room now, or, wait possibly two hours for their system to update and get it at our discounted price. While my husband and I were debating risking the wait or getting the room full price because we just wanted to sleep, we realized the price change immediately after we told them about our room discount. Now, instead of $62, our "discount" was $110. They changed the price while we were in the f*ing lobby. Very unprofessional and shady. Ironic for being a "friendly, environmental" atmosphere. Be better.

Had a great stay here! The staff were super friendly and personable during our interactions. The room we stayed in was very cozy, which was very much the theme of the entire hotel from the lobby to the rooms. If you’re coming from out of town, it’s fairly close to downtown Colorado Springs with a fair amount of restaurants around. Highly recommended especially if you want something different from a “traditional hotel experience.”

My husband and I had an incredible time staying here for our honeymoon. It was everything we hoped it would be and more. You truly feel the ethos of the hotel when you walk in and it is reinforced through the actions of the hotel and staff. In addition to planting a tree for each stay, they also donate to other causes, they track their carbon footprint, and more. Rynn and Nikki were absolutely incredible during our first night stay. We sat at their bar, drank local craft beer, and had amazing conversation with them. Tami was super helpful in the morning. They have expansive space that guests can enjoy 24 hours a day, spectacular views, and a great room. We will absolutely stay here again when we come back to visit. Thank you all so much!!
