Trail with some elevation gain. Hiking towards the peak gives you some beautiful views of the bay area.
Not all trail is shaded so wear a cap or hat if you can.
It was not busy on a Friday evening.
Very beautiful area overlooking the sf north bay area including oakland, san Francisco and a view of bay bridge, golden gate bridge and view of alcatraz. Two lane winding road with very little parking.
This is one of the best views of San Francisco from the East Bay. As you can see in the photo, it can be spectacular.
Steep climbing and descending. Views of the bay probably attract terrible ig "models" . Parking is tricky.
I watched the sunset with my bf. I got some really great pictures. Easy drive up & down the mountain. Watch out for ppl skating & biking down the mountain. Other than that it's beautiful & perfect romantic views. If u have never been here, go. U won't regret it
There is no signage at the trail head, which is just an intersection of the trail and Grizzly Peak Blvd. Skyline Trail that goes to Orinda needs a permit and you'll need to buy it online beforehand and carry the print.
The trailhead has no view at all but views on both sides of this trailhead are pretty nice although a bit of of a hike away. The trailhead is a relatively high point so it's mostly downhill from here! If you are going to Claremont Canyon Regional Preserve, you'll be able to have a fantastic view of the San Francisco Bay once you get close to the hills behind Berkeley; if you are going to Orinda, the most beautiful view comes after half way point and you'll be able to see the reservoirs in the north west.
Point de vue sympa et point de départ des randonnées.
Hanazen oferred some of the most delicious fish and housemade seasonings I have ever tasted. The service was incredible and the food was beyond memorable. Be sure to call and make a reservation for a meal you won't soon forget.
I am short of words to describe the experience. I would say it brings out the kid inside me. Lovely place for kids and adults alike if you're into little toy steam trains. There's something about it that makes you happy. I wouldn't be overstating it
We have been going to Cal Shakes productions since we were just college kids. It is a lot of fun! We always get there at 6pm, grab a picnic table, and eat a wonderful potluck. For a while we got super fancy and once even brought a fancy candlestic
A jewel of a performance location. We attended the first annual Bluegrass festival in early August. Although billed as 3 hours, it was an 8 hour band-filled jam. Topped off with a swirling pink and magenta sunset behind the stage, silhouetted by the
Great scenic place for a walking hike. Trail is easy - most of it is paved and relatively flat. But, on a clear day you have a great view of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, and much of the bay.
Trail is dog friendly. As a side note, if you wa
We went here for our holiday dinner. The ambience was cozy and I loved the high booths for great privacy. The staff was helpful with answering questions. We ordered Chicken tikka sizzler, chicken korma, dal makhani and Shaba special naan. You can ask
Cute and cozy place. Neatly maintained. Great menu options. The taste is amazing, kids loved the place. Great service. Loved the bhel puri and bhel puri. Even the chai is perfect. I really hope they continue maintaining the quality and standard.
It's a miracle this place has survived - only through the active efforts of the community and the interest in the histori Art Deco character. Places like this are important to frequent and support. You'll never know how long they'll be around. There
Visited around 2pm on a Saturday and was seated right away despite being busy. They have a wonderful outdoor patio with lots of seating, tvs for entertainment, great music on weekends, and they are dog friendly! The atmosphere was enjoyable. The serv
