The rooms stink so bad the sheets from the bed has spiders 🕷 the sheets are very itchy rooms stink lots of smoke. I will not come any more very dirty 🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢
We booked for two nights. Non-smoking rooms still smell like smoke. Your clothes will smell like it. Evening/night staff is not friendly and hard to talk to. Bed only had 3 pillows on one side. VERY dirty room. You get one thin blanket. Multiple lights were out. Bathroom was the worst. It was dirty, lights out, toliet paper not even on the rod and all the towels have makeup stain and im hoping the red stuff was not old blood stains. Remotes didn't have backs or batteries. LOUD music playing in multiple rooms with sketchy people in and out all night. Not suggested for families! Terrible place and didn't even stay our second night.
I will start from Worst to Bad on my November 4th 2023 stay
-Room Next Door playing LOUD MUSIC all night until 5am, it was a guy having men knock on his door, let each in at a time and have sex, you could hear the LOUD moaning even with the loud music 🤮.
-When I did manage to sleep for a little bit, the Train Horn would wake me up. Hotel is close to Train Tracks and it runs by there 3 or 4 times between midnight and 5 am so it will disturb you every time.
-I arrived around 6pm to claim my reserved room. Bed sheets were still wet so it was unpleasant laying down on that. Room service was still around and tried to convince me that they were not wet, I called front desk and asked for another room or my money back, they immediately changed the sheets.
-No Hot water on shower, only hot water would come out through hand sink
-Main Bed Cover had cigarette burns
Very unpleasant stay!!! Very noisy and loud people were fighting in the middle of the night. Knocking on our door!!! Very dirty! The furniture, bed sheet are very worn out! We got a nonsmoking room and the room was penetrated of smoke. There was NO IRON OR HAIRDRYER AVAILABLE. According to the front office they are no longer require to provide them. Felt unsafe! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO STAY THERE!!!
As they say: Three Strikes, you’re out. We gave this motel three chances to give us a clean room, as we had read great reviews calling it superb, but in the end we had to leave so frustrated with the service and communication with the manager Gary. At the front desk, my wife and I made it very clear to Sam that we wanted to be as far away as possible from smoking rooms. He gave us room #113. We opened the door of this first “non-smoking” room and immediately the smell of smoke was overwhelming. We didn’t even enter the room because it was so strong. Sam then said sorry. We were given a key to another “non-smoking” room (#116) and though the smell was not as overwhelming, it still had a smoke smell. The front desk attendant then went and personally found us a third room that did not smell like smoke. However, once we entered we found plenty of hair on the sheets. Sam came to check the room and apologized and took photos himself. That was the last straw and we decided to find somewhere else to stay. The manager Gary was unhelpful. I spoke with him over the phone and he said he could do nothing but just refund us. After we left, the hotel called us and said: “oh wait, we can’t refund you, as you yourself have to call hotels dot com and initiate the refund.” We felt so terrible about the service and quality of this supposedly new motel. Oh, and this is not to mention that there is no clearly marked car entrance to get to the motel. There is no entrance from the service road, and we had to drive around an extra 5 minutes trying to figure out how to enter the parking lot. Not so fun when it’s dark and you’re tired. Bottom line: stay away and don’t go to this place at all. Bad experience.
I don't know if there will be a repeat visit but I had a comfortable stay. My first room had a hole in the blanket, the bathroom wall also had a hole, found strands of hair on the blanket and towels. I called to report the hole in the bathroom wall and was told that I would not charged. I was so confused by the sentence, because I didn't make the hole and I just got the room. So I made request to be transferred. Second room was okay but the study chair was missing. I had no issues with this. In summary you might get lucky to have clean rooms and you might not. The rooms do come with a microwave and small refrigerator. I know it says breakfast included on the website but that is not true. They stopped serving breakfast since covid-19. I got a decent room at the end of the stay so my stay was comfortable, not the best but it was okay.
The location is across the hwy from the VA Clinic in Ft Worth. It is in an interesting location, you have to go along the fence of a Sam's to get there. It is gated so there is some security although, the window didn’t have a screen on it and was unlocked when we checked in. The toilet seat was VERY wobbly and had to be tightened down to stop it from wiggling. The bathroom is very large and the beds are warm.
My 2wk stay was awesome. The staff and managers were very friendly. I didn't have to worry about much of anything. And the room was very clean. I absolutely loved my stay and will recommend this hotel to others.
