Scooter's Coffee - Coffee shop in Middleton - 6401 University Ave, USA

Cute little coffee shop with a small dining area and drive through. They have a program where if you scan a QR code and upload a photo, they will donate a meal to the local food pantry - I love that so much! They can even make your favorite candy bar into a drink 🤯 I will be going back to try that for sure! The bagel sandwich I had today was yum, too!

I was just here and I ordered something new. When I came to cash out, I asked for my receipt and apparently the person had charged me for someone else’s order. It was twice as much as my order and it overdraft my bank account. They said they returned the funds, but it will take who knows how long to put it back. I was not offered a refund receipt. They ended up giving me the coffee drink for free rather than charging me again which was nice but then when I tried it, it was terrible. I came in and asked the counter person if they are like Starbucks and would replace my drink if I hated it and she said sure, no problem. I waited there for about five minutes when another person came to the counter to ring me up for the replacement drink that I had ordered because I didn’t like the first one. She said it was her managers policy to charge for it. So I ended up paying $14 for a terrible drink that I gave back to them and left unable to get a new coffee. I am a single mom of five kids and my bank account is now negative and I likely will be charged an overdraft fee since the refund is not instant like the withdrawal was. I am so incredibly disappointed. I rarely am able to treat myself to an expensive coffee and the experience here was very upsetting.

I have experienced some of the friendliest, warmest customer service ever at this Scooter’s. So happy to have this business in my hometown. The drinks are fun and delicious, too. Great coffee, great people.

I ordered a latte which was good but my husband ordered a regular coffee that was cold and black when he ordered it with cream and sugar. The person who took our order was polite.

My drinks are always made delicious and the food is very yummy. I also had great costumer service! Will be coming back

I was so excited when I found out Madison had a Scooters!! They have the BEST coffee!!!!! Every time I’m in the area, I have to get one… even if I already had my home coffee or it’s too late… I just have to 😅

I’m sad to say I’m very disappointed in Scooters these days. I’ve been going there for nearly 4 years but within the past year, the drinks are very inconsistent and the price for the exact same drink keeps fluctuating up or down every time I come in. Today at 11:45 ish was honestly the final straw. I was the only person in the drive thru line and ordered a large iced black and white mocha with Carmel cold foam. The guy taking the order sounded confused and asked me to hold on. A minute later, another guy asked me my order and I repeated it. He said ok and asked me to drive around. I get to the window and he asked me again what my order was so I repeated it for the 3rd time. I pay and I wait. He returns a few minutes later with a hot drink. Then says “wait, was this hot or iced?” Wow. For the 4th time now, it’s iced. I hear him tell someone it was supposed to be iced and another guy says “it’s fine, just dump it in a cup with ice.” My resulting drink was a super hot mess in a cup with barely any ice and definitely no cold foam at this point. It also tasted horrible. I was so frustrated that I didn’t bother asking them to remake it because at that point, I provided my order 4 times and it was still wrong. As a long time customer, I think I’ll continue on at Starbucks.

Great coffee! I love getting the peanut butter crunch blender and their lattes. The staff are always very friendly. The prices and drink sizes are very generous! The only small issue I have recently noticed is the quality control is a bit so so here.
