Scoot Inn - Motel in Port Orange - 5964 S Ridgewood Ave, USA

This is my third time trying to write a review . In the last couple of weeks this place has improved. They're very polite, honest and well-mannered managers.. They make sure you have towels. So anything else you need? The rooms will clean meat and clean when you walk in and when you walk out. They do their best to make sure your stay is pleasant. I give it 5 stars 6 stars million. So when that me. I said welcome come to scream.

Absolutely terrible people rooms are filthy bugs everywhere bedding gets washed only if it looks dirty and they got rid of the best managers they had for people that don't speak English! I wouldn't let my dog stay there it's sooo bad!!!!

Room 1, (yes, number 1) stayed for road trips. The room is pretty basic, obviously has working microwave, refrigerator, TV, a/c. Honestly I can't really complain because you get what you paid for, plus nothing is really bad. One thing is, there is a lamp that is attached to wall that doesn't have freaking light blub, but at least has ceiling fan with light that works. Another thing the curtain is pretty thin, that you can semi see though, we Improvised by hanging blanket over it. Also multiple windows thay can open/close. The woman with yellow hair (manger), gave my grandma "senior discount" because the hotel isn't compatible with AARP & AAA.

Please read this if you want a break down of this motel. I had an online reservation from march 12th-17th room 7. This was the cheapest place in the area at $55 a night. I had read many bad reviews, and a lot of them are a tad misleading. Through my entire stay i had only seen one roach, but this is florida buildings like this will have them, but i could tell they had been treating for them. As for the noise complaints, the walls are pretty thin and when a tractor trailer goes through it sounds as if you are in the middle of the road. I could occasionally hear them talking outside, but they weren’t really loud. While i was using the microwave with the tv on it did flip the breaker on the extension chord they were using but i simply turned it back on and turned the minifridge back on and started heating up with the tv up and it was fine. The walls were a tad bit dirty but wasnt bad at all. When i got to the motel the hdmi chord to the tv was stripped but they quickly fixed it when i brought it to their attention. The language barrier was a little difficult but they are very nice people. The only complaint i really do have with the place thats a personal preference is the bed was pretty firm and i like more than 2 pillows to support my head. Im sure if i had asked for more pillows they would have complied though. I would definitely come back again. Also the Hidden treasure bar right across the street is absolutely amazing. For the price of this motel and the condition of the room and service it’s definitely worthy a 4 star rating. (Remember other hotels/motels you may be paying double or triple of this price these small little issues would not be worth the extra 300-600 i would have to pay)

Hole in the wall dirty , ac wasnt big enough to cool room ,had dust all over inlet of ac , bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, tv didnt work they had it programmed wrong , i got it working , couldnt sit on toilet normal sink was in the way

Upon arrival, management tried to change the price we booked at (we used a third party booking agency). They refused to let us check in even though we had paid the amount advertised with the booking agent. Management got very aggressive putting hands in our friends face and shoving through us. I think this is a money scam trying to use intimidation tactics to get people to not be want to stay even though they’ve already paid through a third party with no refunds available. Had to call the cops. Don’t waste your time/money.

This guy is an absolute literal criminal. We paid 80 dollars for room and it smelled badly of smoke, stained bed and sheets, cigarette burns in bed- completely dirty. When asked for money back because we did not want to stay there the man was absolutely manic. He was shouting, putting hands in face enough for the cops to get called. For health reasons alone, someone needs to shut thus place down. He then manipulated the paperwork after we signed it to say we only paid 65 and forcefully put a pen in my girlfriends' hand to sign saying he would return only after we signed the tampered with paperwork. This man and place is dangerous!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stay clear

A nice privately owned establishment with a wonderful staff . It's a rest easy motel but it is clean and quiet.
