Scissortail Brewery is one of my most recommended breweries, the Dead Broke Dunkel is my personal favorite and will leave you wanting more. The brewer makes a range of different beers from lagers to stouts and pours passion into everything he makes. The prices are very fair and the atmosphere of the brewery is overall welcoming. Its a great place to have a tasteful brew and experience my go-to spot in Dewey.

Scissortail is by far the best brewery in the Bartlesville/Dewey area. James brews awesome and consistent beers without compromise on quality.

Love Scissortail Brewing! They have a great selection of brews, bartenders are extremely knowledgeable, and they turned their historic building into a friendly gathering place which has a great neighborhood feel. The town of Dewey is a gem and has a couple of neat museums (Tom Mix and The Dewey Hotel) and a bunch of great antique shops.Highly recommended!

Amazing clean beer. Everything from the IPA to lager to the stout were right on! Bar was clean staff was friendly. If you can make an excuse to get out here stop by, you wont be disappointed!
Great beer and excellent service! They have a wide range of beers to choose from, with new beers and seasonal brews added often. My favorite is their standard pale ale, Outlaw Valley, but their Outpost coffee IPA is unique and amazing. Their Tenacity raspberry sour is great, and, from a technical standpoint, their dunkel lager Dead Broke and 1267, a milk stout, are award winning. I’m biased, but the beer here is genuinely excellent.
GREAT spot. After seeing all the good ratings/reviews here, I stopped in one Saturday while out on a hiking trip. I will definitely be back! Really good beers of multiple varieties, an awesome aesthetic with dart boards and cornhole/bags, and two very nice owner/operators who I had a great time chatting with. Ended up buying a t-shirt on my way out. Highly recommend!

I loved the tour of the Dewey Hotel Museum! Period correct pieces throughout including panoramic pictures (rodeo and cowboy roundups), typewriters, phonographs, loveseats, etc. At the beginning of the tour I was told that the 3rd. floor was haunted.
