Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant - Dinner theater in Orlando - 351 S Studio Dr, USA

Ate as a family for the first time at Sci-Fi Diner and it definitely was a unique and memorable experience! The atmosphere is a 10/10, having the drive in movie theatre experience is a wonderful reprieve from the loud bustling park outside (much of the theatre was quiet which we loved). Our waitress Onassis was so kind, attentive and funny, we really enjoyed her humor! The only reason I give it 4/5 stars is for the quality of the food. The burgers were pretty good but the fries were very over salted. I had ordered the pesto pasta which was pretty good, but bordering on the too oily/greasy side. Other than this, we certainly did enjoy our time at the Sci-Fi Diner but may checkout other dining options at Hollywood studios in the future!

It's one of the more unique themed restaurants to dine in at Hollywood Studios. I think one visit is enough for me. We waited about 20 minutes after checking in for our reservation time before we were seated. It's quite dim in there so it's hard to take pictures. We tried the chicken pasta (very creamy and came with veggies). I got the the spinach artichoke dip and it was okay. The chips were warm as they were freshly fried. The dip was a bit heavy, definitely a dish to be shared. We also tried the "Out of this World" dessert which was very sweet. The pineapple mousse was nice and the chocolate cake was a bit dense like fudge. The lime mousse on top should've been the whole cake. The crumble on the side didn't add much to the dish. It was pretty cool to sit in a "drive in theater" in seats and tables that resembled cars. Not much table space, it's more like a counter. I wish they would show new clips rather than the same few on an infinite loop...

We loved this place! My boyfriend has been talking about the special burger since we got home from our trip! We are here using the Fantasmic Dining Package. You get so much food... The package comes with one non alcoholic drink per person, one appetizer per person, and one entree per person. It is a lot of food if you aren't used to eating that much. My boyfriend and I did a pretty good job of getting through it, but it helped that the food was delicious! Our server was fun and playful which is always nice! He recommends items not to order from the menu and why which was nice! We were originally going to order one of the items he said not to get, and we are glad because our choices were delicious! Watching old cartoons and movies on the screen while eating in a car is just such a fun and enjoyable experience!

The Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater is located in Disney’s Hollywood studios. The highlight of this restaurant is the amazing theming. The inside of the restaurant is made up to look like you are at a drive-in theater. The tables look like convertible cars and they face a large movie screen where clips of vintage shows and movies play. The menu is fairly small and includes a few sandwiches, salads and desserts. On this visit my wife tried the chicken salad on the multi-grain croissant. She thought it was good and it had nice big chunks of chicken in it. I tried the Classic American burger. I the burger was good for a theme park burger. The highlight of our meals were the crispy batter dipped onion rings. They were super crispy and freshly made. Overall I would say give this place a visit. The food isn’t bad, but the atmosphere makes it worth trying. Just make sure you make reservations in advance, and just know that the car tables can be pretty cramped.

I adore this restaurant. It is a must try for the awesome atmosphere! You get to sit in a car as your table as if your at a drive in movie. You have to get the glow cube glow in the dark souvenir cup! Our entrees were good but not great! Just a very standard meal somewhat reminiscent of a chain restaurant. Here’s my heads up if you’re anything like me. If you aren’t going with a party that’s going to fill up an entire car maybe ask for a table because I went with my husband for our honeymoon and we had the sit in the back of a car. The lady Infront of us had on her Mickey ears and we couldn’t really see the movie screen to enjoy the atmosphere. Not to mention if you were stuck with some loud kids or something. So just keep that in mind if you’re going on a date or a smaller party!

🛸 great atmosphere 🍔 delicious food 💸 pricey 🤷🏽‍♂️ tip is added onto your bill It was my first time coming into the restaurant and connecting with my party inside was difficult so make sure you go in with your party or you may come into some frustrating situations. The food itself is delicious! Many burger options, a salad option and a pasta option. All are very good and well portioned. The kids menu is adequate, your much better off ordering a chicken soup as it’s much more filling for the kids. The meteor souvenir drink is only good for the cup and it’s basically a kids cup with a light up cube BUT it does glow in the dark so if your down to pay 7 dollars then go for it. The atmosphere is amazing! The car has enough space to each comfortably and the little snippet of sci fi in the screen is enough to keep you entertained. Now here’s the important part. The plates are about 25-30 dollars each and the kids plates are about 12-15 dollars. On top of the that the tip is added onto your check so do not be surprised if your server tries to add on something more to your bill. Other than that, it’s a great experience! If you haven’t gone and your a big fan of sci fi and drive ins; this is for you 👽🛸

Food was great, we liked our pasta and burger. Vibe was quite and good. Our waiter was awesome and he took us very beautiful photos. one thing is that the dining space was not spacious because of the theme, wasn't a big issue for us anyway.
