Nestled in the heart of Golden Valley, this bar emanates a comfortable and classic atmosphere, reminiscent of the region's charm. The wood-paneled walls and butcher block tables create a warm and inviting ambiance, accentuated by the subtle presence of seasonal decorations that seamlessly blend with the surroundings. As you enter, the familiar hum of sports broadcasts on strategically placed TVs adds to the bar's congenial atmosphere.
In terms of cuisine, the bar offers a delightful selection of classic American bar food. A standout item is the buffalo chicken sandwich, thoughtfully grilled rather than fried, providing a unique twist to the familiar favorite. The commitment to quality extends to appetizers, with the potato skin dish standing out for its generous portion and satisfying flavors. Complementing the food is a selection of crisp beers, adding to the overall experience.
While the culinary offerings shine, the service provides a mix of approachability and occasional distance. The staff, though friendly, may display moments of reservedness. Despite this, the overall experience at the bar is characterized by its Minnesota charm, from the comforting ambiance to the delicious, thoughtfully prepared classic American fare. Whether you're catching a game with friends or enjoying a hearty meal, this bar offers a genuine taste of Minnesota in both atmosphere and cuisine.
Great neighborhood ambiance for food and beverages. Your wings remain one of my favorites!! Great spot for larger gatherings of family and friends. Consistently very good food and consistently awesome service...friendly and fast. Keep up the great history of a neighborhood gathering spot!
Dinner to celebrate a birthday. 10 people. Service was great. Attentive. We ate a variety of food. Everyone enjoyed it. Pot pie, fish, Turkey gravy over bread, French dip. No complaints. Would definatly go back.
Service a bit slower seemed that only 2 people covering the whole patio😔.
The Server was nice,
our order was correct.
The Food was decent.
The atmosphere was so lovely, a private sanctuary in the middle of the city.
Allows fur babies, which there were a few that night.
The Schu abides. Nice remodel inside, patio with the water feature is very well done. If you go, looking for comfort food, and Mom's chicken pot pie is on the menu, they knock it out of the ball park. It's the best.
Was a great spot with amazing whole jumbo wings! Sauces complimented them perfectly! Glad I found this spot will defiantly be back to try one of their open faced hot sandwhiches.
Loved this place! Fish Fry was so good. Mixed drinks were poured great. Our server was efficient and friendly. Can’t wait to go back!
Sat night live music by some great local bands. Fun vibe! New patio was closed. Featured in local news paper fall 2022 looks like it expands the space substantially.

This was such a fun experience. Any age would love it. It did not matter we had an odd number of people. They totally made it even. Our group had a great time. The host pictured and Amelia were awesome and it really felt like we were on a game show.

Had my nieces's birthdays here on a Sunday. Good basic party room which was really nice to have as it was extremely busy. Could bring a cake and water. Price was reasonable for a two hour window and ten wristbands. It's hard to keep an eye on kids th

I had only wished I found this place on the 1st day of my 9 day stay in the area instead of my last. I would have eaten here every day. It's not anywhere near any other restaurants or businesses really so you kind of need to be intentful to just make

They have a drinking fountain! Picnic tables and benches are also out in the open. They also have a playground with regular swings, a baby swing, slides, tunnels, a spinning ride that kind of looks like the tilt a whirl at the state fair, as well as
Very cool and retro strip mall on Highway 55. Throwback to the 50's and '60's. Nice variety of shops including Down in the Valley, one of the few remaining Radio Shack stores, a pet store, barber shop, liquor store, dry cleaners, and many others. Ple
