This was the most AMAZING German food I've ever had...and I was stationed in Germany for 4 years, so that's saying something! The Pork Shank was perfectly prepared...and the sauerkraut, red cabbage and mash potatoes put the whole meal into legendary status. Topped it off with some incredible Hefeweizen beer and you have a meal made for Odin. Then to totally complete the experience...the service was superb! Fast, friendly...and I even got a misordered beer on the house! Trust me, this will be a stop whenever I'm in the City that Rocks!
Took my parents here for a unique experience and they loved it! We ordered two beer flights for drinks, and for food got Kartoffel tots, Jager schnitzel, Bavarian Crispy Pork Shank, and One sausage platter with two sausages - Frankfurter and Sicilian. The portions are huge but we did our best to finish most of it.
Inside the restaurant, the area that's nearer to the entrance is for bar/low-key hangout where I saw some people grab drinks together after work or for dates.
Further in from the entrance is the dining area where I saw some people sit down and order meals.
Price is pretty reasonable given that this is SF / their portions are generous.
I also enjoyed the German flights as well!
Nice hidden gem. Casual German restaurant with friendly, informative, and quick service. Food was excellent but filling.
The pretzel is great. Be sure to get the cheese.
The chicken schnitzel sliders and the pork shank are also really good.
I would skip the loaded tots. More than anything they were too salty.
Went here for the first time in years! The place got a full make over prior to the pandemic and it is beautiful inside and much bigger then I remember.
I was there for an event, so we had buffet lunch, but the variety was great and overall the food was good. I will be back to try the regular menu for sure.
Very good schnitzel and spaetzle. The pretzel is also amazing and very much worth getting the beer cheese with it. I got the sour beer and the cider on tap, which were a little pricey, but not bad at all. Had a great time.
This huge interior has a fantastic atmos. The schnitzel, pretzel and beer all great. Really fun spot.
Amazing Oktoberfest beers and bratwurst. Their mustard is top notch, so is service
HIT is not really my thing, nor is working out just for the sake of working out, but this team is rocking it. They've gotten me to come back more times than I thought I would and that's a credit to their energy and encouragement â¤ï¸

The Neighborhood Tour with Lisa was so useful in our search for a home in SF. She listened to all our requests for the characteristics of the property we were looking for, as well as our preferred locations. We knew nothing of the city coming into th
