This is a neat place to go, but it's gone downhill with staff and their food. Even the drinks were blah.
Enjoy the atmosphere, if clean and there are no kids running around screaming and bumping into you or climbing under the tables.
It's been around go so long that you should try it, but don't expect much.
A great watering hole with perfect ocean views. At the right time of the year the view includes whale spouts. Dolphins, sea otters, sea lions and brown pelicans often frequent the area as well. The beer selection and food offerings are just what you want from a beach bar and restaurant (wine and d cocktails are also available). Their clam chowder, calamari and fish tacos are favorites. There is seating inside, outside, upstairs and down (there is a dog friendly seating area downstairs). The staff members are very friendly. If you’re there around 4:30pm you might get to encounter Randy the Pirate, a local legend. If he’s there, you won’t have to ask, you’ll know it. Great stop.
We just came in for drinks. The only bar in town that sells hard liquor. The bartender Thomas kept our glasses full. Beautiful view of the ocean also.
The BEST place for a wedding reception! The owner worked with us for months in advance to make sure everything was perfect for our big day! Very reasonably priced and accommodating! The food was amazing, as always, and the views are absolutely beautiful! EVERYONE at the reception RAVED about the food and the atmosphere! This has always been one of my hubby's and mine favorite places to eat when we go to the coast and they TOTALLY delivered for our wedding reception as well!
I went to the upstairs bar with a view of the ocean. I'm not sure if it's a small bar or a big bar. It was my first time. It felt like a really nice, cozy place. The customers are really nice, warm and open. The staff was also really nice and open. There were only about 10 people there.
Everyone loved their food. Calamari was a hit as well as the chowder.
Our server was sweet.

Casual food, full bar, simple and chic establishment. The servers were all wonderful. Can be packed.
Amazing weather today spent the entire afternoon with my grandchildren on the beach. Fabulous time looking through the tide pools. Showed a big red crab and 2 different types of starfish to the kids. Shared the thrill of lightly sticking a finger on
A lovely beach very popular and busy on the weekends. Great tide pools at low tide both north and south of the main beach area. Fishing on the pier-no license necessary. Excellent view of Morro Rock. Lots of sea life, including whales, dolphins, sea
Enjoyed our breakfast croissant and avocado toast (avocado, cream cheese and tomato), my favorite and nicely prepared with at good serving of avocado.
Expresso beverages done just right and served in porcelain cups.

Very chill place to take a break from the beach and enjoy a cold beverage. Cash-only--luckily my friend had some on him (this old millennial rarely does ;). Friendly bar tender, very cool ambiance, old west/neighborhood bar. Interesting ceiling decor
My husband got the pepperoni slice and was quite happy. We waited a bit for this freshly made garlic bread (size of a medium pizza) and it was worth every second of the wait! True deliciousness. We ate half for lunch and oven heated the rest with din
