This school changed my life in short.
I’m coming back to review this school / program/ constructions skills as a now 9th year union iron worker. A job that’s given me the ability to make alot of money and learn a trade. Without the school and the programs I wouldn't have had the stepping stones required to find my career; so thanks co op tech.
This is only my experience when I took the carpentry classes. The teacher there i forgot his name I don’t know if he still works there I went around 2022 him personally is the reason why I’m giving it two stars. I wouldn’t convince any of my kids to be his student. He was so unprofessional and disrespectful and rude from the very beginning like he’s a drill sergeant and me personally I love doing things the hard way but he was doing way too much from the start. I was really dedicated in taking these classes while trying to graduate and he had the audacity to call me a baby knowing I was still trying to graduate saying he can’t be babying his students. Constantly every single day gave me problems which is why I decided to leave.
Highly recommend this school if you're looking for a new trade, there's a wide variety to choose from. Teacher's are incredibly friendly, they teach the materials in an easy to understand way. Classmates are also welcoming which is incredibly rare for NYC schools. First time ever i actually enjoy going to school.
I want to Manhattan vocational not sure if it's still Manhattan vocational that was my old school theirs a trade for everyone at Manhattan vocation
My step son attended co-op tech in 2019.
I can say only good things about this school.
He graduated with a electrical Installation diploma
and will be starting work at NYC Transit this August
as an electrical helper. You get what you put into the program.
2024 Step son is now a provisional Maintainer . Thank you co-op tech.
Never pick up the phone! I went by today and it was no information on classes or anything! I was giving a form by front desk to put my information on and was told I was going to get a call later today! I look it's closed now and No one called or emailed me! I don't like putting my information on things for no reason! DO BETTER YALL!!!!!!!!
The school is decent and the teachers are nice but the worst part is they don’t do job placements and they do internship.
I attended the evening trade courses, plumbing and later electrical. Thanks to this institution and its instructors. I have a wonderful city job, payment and benefits great. Tks Co op Tech.

Great class. All the coaches organize classes to push you but allow you to workout to your level. The workout space is not overcrowded and the environment makes you forget youâre actually running!

Tickets were crazy affordable, especially in NYC terms. I went with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. It was wayyy cheaper than going to the movies. They had an amazing line-up and the retro 80s vibes were intimate and chill. Plus the come
Out of all of the Georgian restaurants Iâve been to in Brooklyn and Manhattan, Mealz is the one that exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious, not to mention the service was amazing. Overall, the environment was very comforting and friendly
