Schofield Commissary - Grocery store in Wahiawa - 698 Trimble Rd, USA

I ordered 1 lbs of Antipasto Salad at the Deli because there was no prepackaged one. The employee XXX yelled at me to get the prepackaged one from the refrigerated case. I told her there was none. She got up and dished up the order for me. She looked upset. She printed a sticker and threw the package on the counter for me. It was only 0.73 lbs of merchandise. She didn't bother to ask if it was all right. There were plenty of Antipasto Salad. She was abrupt and rude. The shopping will be better if she doesn't exist.

Out of all the other commissary’s on island this one hands down is the best when it comes to quality produce and products. They take pride on their care for not only food but also appearance. I live all the way by JBPHH and make the drive to them once or twice a month just to get what I need. Regardless of my 45min drive I recommend this one to all my friends who are PCSing to island.

Customer service here is amazing. They care enough about soldiers and veterans alike. You can literally get everything here to make your cooking easy and household stuff. Plus the bathroom is always clean and you will be required to wash your honds before entering the commissary. MOST IMPORTANTLY, YOU WILL HAVE TO BE PART OF DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE TO GET ACCESS TO THE BASE.

Still good place to shop, my biggest issue is the self checkouts, they have now split the lane into two sides but neither side indicates express side are not... so you have people lining up on both side with 30+ items They also used to open the bags for you-its the little things Just seems like they care less now since the self checkout change Store is clean, and coolers throughout the store seem to be going down every other week

Everything you need under one roof for military families. We shop this one the most. If someone from the commissary reads this..Fix the scanner on isle 14. It has been out for months.

Avoid during lunch hours and Fridays around 3pm and it's great. Love the selection of different cultural foods that you would never find at any other commissary. Great prices on bulk meat.

In my opinion is very expensive, many damaged products and the workers do not do their job well, they put the items at other prices and the managers do not want to honor the price. They are supposed to be for the benefit of the soldier and their families, but from what I see you have to go to the Commissary to do their job. 👎

Utterly disappointed with management’s claim of “military spouse preference”. I went in today to apply for a store associate position that commissary management advertises on the cash registers to bypass USAjobs.com. I am told Freda, the main point of contact on the advertisement, is out of the office by Martha who is the Store Manager. After seeing my availability of 5am to noon Monday to Friday due to pursing my PhD and valuing time off that corresponds with my service member’s schedule- I am told that “wouldn’t work”. When I asked if there are any exceptions to their routine shifts (9am to 3pm and 3pm to closing) she said no. I find that hard to believe considering other people have multiple jobs, the elderly can potentially have shorter shifts, younger applicants have school, etc. It’s unfortunate the military advertises care for service members and their loved ones when there are actions like this still happening. Attached are two photos of the checkout line the very same day right after my disappointing encounter. It looks like they could use some help, even if part time, to me.
