Love playing softball on Saturday mornings. They do a good job on the fields.
Bought this bracelet for my girlfriend and I. It was amazing to see her face when the magnetic balls clicked together. This park is pretty cool too, but I did not give it to her here. I did it in a much more romantic setting. This park is good for hitting balls and playing on the playground. The toilets are primitive but definitely better than pooping in an outhouse. I will definitely visit this place again.
In a realm of nature's grace, a park does unfold, A place where tranquility and beauty take hold. With open meadows and towering trees so grand, A sanctuary of peace, where memories expand. This beautiful park, a haven of delight, A place to bask in nature's wondrous sight. Though not a playground built for children's play, Its charm lies in picnics on a sunny day. Gather your loved ones, spread a blanket wide, Lay out a feast, let laughter be your guide. The park, a canvas, invites your joyful cheer, A perfect setting for moments held dear. As construction came and changed the scene, The park transformed, like a dream serene. Now, a playground blossomed, with colors bright, A haven for children, their laughter taking flight. Slides and swings, a carousel spinning round, Young hearts enchanted, their laughter resound. A space designed for little feet to roam, Where imagination thrives and memories find home. This modest park, now a gem to behold, A place where small children's dreams unfold. It welcomes families, with open arms wide, A spot for small group BBQs, where memories reside. The scent of grilled delights, filling the air, The sound of joyous chatter, a joyful affair. The park becomes a gathering place so sweet, Where loved ones bond, their connections complete. Oh, this great park, its transformation grand, From a peaceful haven to a child's wonderland. A five-star gem that holds treasures untold, Embracing all who visit, in its warm and gentle fold. May picnics and laughter forever grace this land, And the park remain a place where memories expand. For in its modest charm, it holds a special spark, This great park, a treasure in our hearts.
Have enjoyed this park for years. Good baseball diamonds & play ground . really long parking lot so everything is right there. Has open bathrooms and its right across thestreet from train tracks so you get bonus train spotting. Only thing some may find odd is a fence blocks off some kind of water overfill pond. It doesnt stink.
Probably... No, definitely the weirdest park in St. Charles. It's secluded and creepy. People use the lot for sitting in there cars (hopefully doing nothing but passing the time), workers use the bathrooms during the summer. The playground is older, very small, is not visible from the parking lot, and has fenced off areas in the middle where water pipes are vented(?) from the water treatment plant. It's hard to find, is surrounded by the water treatment plant, a water reservoir, and elm Street. The playground can't serve more than maybe 5 kids, but I have yet to see even 1 kid there. I believe this park is mainly used for baseball games. There are a couple diamonds with bleachers, a small concessions hut, a couple tables, and seasonal bathrooms. There is also a reservable pavillion, and grills.
Well kept and maintained clean sports park. Parking however can be an issue at times on Saturday mornings when you have sport teams playing on both ball fields and patrons renting pavilion and back playground at the same time.
Clean park. Bbq pit and pavilion. Bathrooms are open and clean. Also has a baseball field.
It's a nice park but the playground is extremely old. Also the wind is strong so sometimes dust from the ballfields gets swept into the playground.
