Our visit here turned out to be a stroke of luck as we managed to avoid the usual rush and snag a table without a wait. The waitress attending to us was incredibly kind, making our visit all the more delightful by offering us complimentary coffee.
Our order consisted of the Lorraine’s cheese omelette with an addition of turkey bacon and the Smokey, opting for the turkey bacon on the side. While both dishes were satisfying, the Smokey stole the show.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this spot for a pleasant breakfast outing, especially if you’re lucky enough to catch it during a quieter time.
Real old school feel with awesome traditional Jewish deli foods. Amazing staff and overall just a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!!
The mid century style of this place is pretty aesthetic to pair with excellent food and service. I had the chicken noodle soup which was tip top. Loved sitting in the booth with wonderfully large windows.
I had Schlesinger's cater my daughter's birthday party, and it was excellent. The woman I worked with was so helpful, and the food was delicious and abundant. We did a bagel platter and a sandwich platter. The sides were huge portions. I would definitely use them again.
I got a chicken noodle and there was nothing in it . It was my very first time trying this place and I’m utterly disappointed. With the weather and being cold I was really looking forward to eating it. Then I looked and all I had was noodles and two pieces of chicken skin. 9 dollars for waters down broth and a few pieces of noodles. That’s crazy. If they were out they should’ve told me before giving me the bottom of the pot.
Fantastic coffee shop, had breakfast on a Saturday morning in December… no wait, great service and a delicious decadent meal… Tuna Reuben was to die for (it’s not on the menu but they’ll make it) and the Nova scrambled eggs was delish. Shared both with my other half. We rolled out with a black and white that was on par with the greatest black and white anywhere. 5 stars all the way!
The staff were friendly and helpful. Very personable. I got cabbage rolls, delicious. Also egg salad, nice texture but bland no dill or relish or anything. Will be back but wont get egg salad from them unless I plan to mix in something.
Solid sandwich with loads of filling + great pickle, and truly excellent noodle soup. Quiet when we went but it was late week day lunch so the main crowd may have been & gone.
Service was super fast. Definitely recommend for a classic Jewish deli option in Rittenhouse.
Joined on a student membership for the summer and really enjoyed my experience. All the trainers were highly knowledgeable (and incredibly athletic) and made sure everyone felt welcome in the gym. When I was dealing with a shoulder injury, they were
Coffee here was amazing! The iced latte was great! The black coffee was something else! So fruity and aromatic - truly a great experience! Very much recommended getting their beans too!
A unique hotel with history and a very nice decor to enhance any stay while traveling. We stayed there for a couple days during the New Year's Holiday and had a wonderful experience. Great location in the middle of the city, safe and close to everyth
