Schaumburg Convention Center - Convention center in Schaumburg - 1551 Thoreau Dr N, USA

Conversation center is nice. Good space. Bathrooms were very clean. They had several snack carts if you wanted that. Only thing that was a negative was the parking. I don't know if it was just a popular event or they just had limited parking spaces. Took a while to find parking. Place is right off the freeway easy to find.

Fishing and boat show, there was a lot to see. They could have used more vendors. They had a row of where to plan your fishing trip next. Everyone was very helpful. At the end, they had some wildlife that you would see while out on the water. Pretty cool. They also had someone teaching the little kids how to fly fish in the center. Parking was extremely tight, definitely did not make it out without a nice ding on my door!!! 😡 they need to make their parking spaces bigger for everyone! The cars even had a hard time getting out of their vehicles! I'd say that's a problem.

I have coming to this convention center since I was a young. The halls are quite nice and the bathrooms are always clean. The Renaissance staff haave always been helpful and I look forward to hearing conventions or events I am interested in are going to be held there. It is also located nicely to plenty of dining and shopping as well.

Really nice hotel and great staff. Starbucks on site but only open 6-11. Two bars and an great restaurant

Good and spacious convention center. It is a very high end place that is very clean and we'll kept. I went for a sneaker convention and had lots of fun. All the staff were nice as well. There is a lot of parking although it will still get full during a big convention so I would recommend getting there earlier than later. Overall a good spot.

Huge convention center, very beautiful facility. Very well kept and just a massive facility. Gorgeous chandeliers everywhere and beautiful sculptures.

We attended a cheer competition here. It was quite busy, but the convention center was large and accommodating. I liked how it had these little cafes and restaurants to eat at. They even have escalators if stairs were your enemy. The reason I gave this place 3 stars is because of customer service. I'm not sure if the Food bar in the attached picture is part of the convention center, but I have to say I was extremely disappointed with the guy working there on the right. My arms were loaded down with bags and flowers for my niece, who was competing, and I was trying to get rid of an empty coffee cup. I couldn't find a garbage bin, so I asked the employee. He pointed to a bin on the other side of the wall, but there were a bunch of people standing in the way trying to get ready for their event. They wouldn't move for me. I turned around to see if the employee could help me by taking the cup and tossing it in the garbage can next to him, but he just pointed further down the hallway and told me to go there. If you've ever been to an event and had to walk around with your arms full while trying to ask for help, you might find my frustration relatable. I was extremely disappointed by the fact that he couldn't help me even though he saw me struggling. Absolutely no customer service here. And just so you know, at this point of the day, there was no one in line in front of the guy. He was just standing there. That's what irked me something fierce. But beyond this bad customer service experience, the facility was very nice.

This was a great venue. It is super nice. Bathrooms were kept pretty clean during the weekend.
