What a fun play structure and long slide to play with your kids on in a quite suburban neighborhood. Afterward, you all can head to the trail at the top of the hill for a relaxing walk. There is also a half of a basketball court. There is a picnic table and multiple benches around the park for extra seating. Overall, it's an enjoyable experience. Kids loved it. I would recommend it 👌
Very cool and unique small park. They have a big climbing net thing, a massive slide, little trail, a basketball hoop and a big sandbox. Not sure if I’d bring the 3yo, but the 7yo is in heaven. No bathrooms and no dedicated parking but there was plenty of street space open for parking when we were here.
A neighborhood park built for those that live there. 1 dome shaped structure with a bridge, nets, ropes, steps etc to climb around on. A stand alone slide built into the hillside, good height & length. Basketball court and a paved path with a few benches.
This park is entirely on a hill. Little kids would have fun. There's a windy switch back trail to the top to walk. If you're into that, you'll probably love it. If you're a flat lander, you probably won't like this park. Luckily the playground is at the base of the hill for the people who need something easier to get to.
Little known and hard to find, Schaad Park is a find. Better for bigger kids, there is a wonderful rope-based play structure. Also a slide built into the hill. Be careful, it gets hot and is a very fast slide.
But the best part of the park is the hiking trail up the hill and around the property. It’s probably a couple of miles but fairly easy and affords some incredible views of the Chehalem Valley.
There’s also a half-court basketball court. The lower part of the trail is paved with wheel chair access.
We were just looking for a nice place we could stop and blow off steam for a bit. This is a unique little side off the road stop. No bathroom.
Super fun and wide open park. Fastest slide we’ve found and a fun sand pit too. Off the radar but really worth your trip(s)! Enjoy!
It's a small little park located in a nice community. Street parking only, and maybe just enough room for 4 to 5 cars.
