We truly enjoyed our visit to Scenic Hills Country Club. The staff were all very friendly. The clubhouse was clean, the pro shop and cart service were well stocked and the bar staff at the 19th were great. We will definitely return again. We played until we could not see our balls. Remember: Always tip the helpful staff, they are less angry when you return the carts after dark.
Awesome establishment !!! Staff was very friendly and paid great attention to our needs . Menu has a lot of options. My choice was the breakfast Rise & Shine . Scenic Hills is my favorite location for our brunch girls' gatherings . 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
Staff was super friendly and nice! Club rentals are awesome but, course is in terrible shape. There's sand in the middle of the fairway. Club house is really nice and upkept. I'm looking forward visiting again most likely in the fall to compare course conditions.
Incredible restaurant!! The food, drinks and the staff at this establishment are a 10 out of 10. After this last hurricane, they’ve repainted everything and are in the process of repairing the landscaping as well as installing a swimming pool. The title Country Club is well-deserved. I don’t golf anymore so I can’t speak to the course itself but other reviews are great. We love this resort and will definitely be back as often as possible.
Played in October 2023. Clubhouse is really nice and the staff are very courteous and helpful. The course is in 5/10 condition right now. A couple greens were fantastic, most were pretty patchy, and a couple greens were so bad you might as well pick your ball up and call it a two putt. Same goes for the fairways and tee boxes. The nice part is the price- 35 bucks for a weekday 18 holes and cart. Not bad.
Our company had a Christmas party at Scenic Hills Country Club. Actually, our company has it there every year. You couldn't ask for better hosting and service from the staff. Everyone is friendly, attentive and accommodating. Thank you to all of you.
This was my son's very first golfing experience. Be aware that there is a dress code and you will be followed around and made to feel unwelcome if you do not meet their standards. He was told not to come back if he didn't have a collared shirt and golf shoes. Dress codes are understandable. It IS a country club, after all. But the delivery could have been 1000 times better. We were new to town and meeting family and hoping to have a fun, relaxing day. But because a few of the guys had on plain T-shirts, the experience was not up to par. We will find a new course the next time we want to get together, and we will not be recommending this location 👎
Was looking forward to playing this course. Been a little while. I’ve lived in this area my whole life. Not sure if I will go back. First the bad news. It’s a tough course still. So be prepared. That being said some people are faster than others. Golf can be a slow game when playing a round and most people know that. However with 3 holes left in our round. One of the Marshals asked me if I could pick up the pace and there were 3 groups backed up behind us. I said yeah sarcastically, he then said thank you and drove off. We were on the green and no one was waiting in the fairway on 15 I can tell you. Beyond rude and unprofessional. Not a fan of slow play either but with three holes left seriously? Way too late to be doing that. On a Monday no less at mid afternoon with no tournament going on. We had let a group go by earlier in the round. I understand golf etiquette but this was uncalled for. I complained to the manager after the round. So beware everyone. Also beware of the 15th hole after the tee box. Bridge being worked on is very dangerous. Lots of construction going on. Now the good news. Carts are brand new. Very comfortable seats. Everyone else was very nice except for the one Marshal. It’s a cool course layout. Clubhouse is immaculate and pro shop is very nice. Greens were great. Fairways and tee boxes were just ok. Overall however I thought the course was overpriced for a Monday 10:30 tee time. $110 dollars for two people with cart and range balls. As well as an extra $20 spent on concessions. Disappointed and not sure if I will return for awhile.
