Worth a quick visit. Interesting local history - The Scargo Hill Observatory, taken down by storms and forest fire, was rebuilt three times. A 30’ stone tower built in 1901 still stands. Beautiful panoramic views - very picturesque! My 3yo loved it, she thought it was Rapunzel’s tower! She was very excited to climb to the top and admire the views. It’s such a pity that the Nobscussett Hotel is no longer there. It would’ve been a beautiful historic landmark if it were still standing.

It’s a beautiful view! Easy to find though if it’s busy parking might be tight. It’s family friendly and great for adventurers. Also, it’s free!
It's a beautiful place for pictures nice and awesome view for Summer, Spring and Fall winter will be a chilly place since is surrounded by a great lake.!

Cargo Tower is a historic tourist attraction. It sits on one of the highest elevations on Cape Cod and has wonderful views of the surrounding lake and bay.
Great views! Expected it to be busy on a holiday weekend, but not a car in site. Loved it!
Pretty view and the tower is not very high so you can easily get to the top. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
