Traveling for work I have passed this place many times and thought it would be a good place to try. Finally got to work in Virginia and coincidentally my hotel was next door. The atmosphere was rustic and inviting. Wait staff was awesome. knowledgeable about the menu and made helpful suggestions. Food was tasty. I liked it well enough to go a second night and my experience was the same. For sure worth a try.
We came here for lunch on a Saturday. Our server, Paige, was delightful 😊 I had the new Chicken Shwarma, which was yummy. My fiancee had the taco salad, which he said was good but the shell underneath gets hard to cut - making it kind of messy. And my dad had a cup of Chicken Wild Rice Soup, which he said was pretty darn good. Come here hungry, leave absolutely full 👌
GREAT food! We went there during the lunch rush and it was packed; we had a little wait, but the food was well worth the wait! The fries were crazy good. Our server was an absolute rockstar.
If you sit on the upper deck make sure to let them know - the food was amazing - it was definitely on the crazy side when we got there - seemed to calm after a bit - the servers were really nice.
Walked in the back door and it’s such a nice vibe in this restaurant. Got greeted within seconds from walking in and I sat down at the bar area. I got recommended the special of the day after I got asked if I was dining in by the bartender working. Great experience all around. 5 stars!
Good atmosphere Chilly cheese fries were better than the sandwich I ordered.
Met with a friend for lunch and the game at Sawmill, ordered a soda to drink and then food after over an hour wait only the one soda and no refill and waitress never came back. 1 hour 45 minutes and food was shriveled up and only partially what I ordered. They offered to comp the food which is fine as I never touched mine and my friend only had 2 bites of his. Very poor service and very depressing that I have to leave hungry. Be lucky if I ever come back to this place for food!!!
I wish I could give this no stars. Our service was slow, like we sat for over 2 hours without food. They messed up our orders and they were rude and unaccommodating. I don’t care how busy you are, 2 hour wait after arrival to get your food is unacceptable. Well after everyone was finally done eating it took over a half hour for our bill. We had to seek out the server to finally get it. Save your self $114 for a meal for 4 and go somewhere else that will serve you faster.
