What makes Savvy Cellar so special is the atmosphere, wine selection, and knowledgeable staff. Manny and the team at Savvy are incredibly friendly and wow, they know their stuff when it comes to wine! There’s plenty of cozy tables to duck into for a quiet conversation over food and drinks, but the best seats in the house are at the bar where the team at Savvy can really shine as the get to know you through conversations and different wine or beer suggestions. One of my favorite stops anytime I’m in Mountain View. Five stars 100%!

This place is Amazing! The food and drinks (wine) was fresh! They had truffle popcorn and charcuterie boards which is very Upscale if you know your foods! The price was awesome and very reasonable. The owner (Manuel Vasquez) and his staff was very hospitable. I will stop in everytime I am in California. I'm from Michigan and we need more Wine Bar's here. I absolutely loved the items mentioned above. My friend loved it also, even though he never heard of truffle and charcuterie. This Wine Bar also had great pizza's. Love this place!!!!

Great experience. My husband and I were looking for a wine bar and decided to try out Savvy Cellar. Our server was great at explaining the wines and suggested a perfect one for me. My husband went with the mystery flight. We got a free wine for guessing the mystery wines! We weren't hungry so didn't have any food with our wine. This is right next to Caltrain - if you're riding, it's a great stop on your way home from work, shopping or sightseeing. Highly recommend!

Amazing wine flight tasting experience with Manny (not sure I'm spelling his name right). He is super knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I have done many wine tastings at various places, but this is by far one of the top experiences! Will definitely come back again for this experience and hopefully more!

From wine to food to pairing recommendations, everything was a one of a kind experience. I love a good glass of champagne — light and bubbly is perfect in any setting. Antonio made the recommendation of pairing it with truffle popcorn and now that’s the only thing I’ll be pairing my glass of bubbly with. Thank you! . Next I had tried the Versos (Italian) wine made by women wine makers with minimal intervention. It is made using the Mencia grapes and is light bodied with notes of cranberries. The wine pairs well with a light meal. Relative to a Pinot, but better! . The wine Mur Verde is a Spanish wine; organic and more fuller/ structured relative to a Merlot. When you think organic, you assume there’s more bitterness to the wine and off flavors, but not this. By far some of the best organic wine I’ve had! It paired nicely with the vegetables and veggie cutlets along with the goat cheese & sundried tomato crostinis. . The Westgate is a French wine from the south of France. This was more relative to a Cab and very filling. Strong notes of berries, and paired well with the margarita flatbread I had. . Their cheese platters looked amazing as well, however my appetite was filled from the wine and bites that I couldn’t fathom anything else. 10/10 I recommend a visit for the service, delicious wine and pairings, and just to get away on a nice day.

This is our new favorite date night spot. If you're unsure about wine, get over here to see Manny- he's one of our favorite sommeliers. Many wine tasting experiences can be very hands off or rushed, but Manny takes the time to get to know you and take you on a flavor journey you will enjoy and keep you coming back for more. We have yet to try the food, though it looks spectacular and we look forward to more visits. This spot seats more than you would think and there is easy parking at the train station if you'd rather pay a few bucks vs drive around hunting for a spot. You could also park on Moffett and walk across Central which may be easier than trying to find something downtown.
