So happy we have this amazing art center near us. They support local artists and have been expanding classes for all ages. They have so many events for the community as well. Friendly people with a passion for the arts.

Last autumn, I fully enjoyed my Beginning Oil Painting class at Saratoga Arts. Lisa David was very attentive, and the facility was comfortable and spacious. I was very excited to rejoin this year's class and continue my oil painting journey. This year, I had a very different experience. The class has twice as many students (12) and our classroom is half the size. Because we have so many students in so little space, navigating from the door to my seat was a challenge (we had two students set up right at the classroom door blocking the entrance). It was difficult to set up our equipment, learn, and paint. Lisa tried hard to answer all our questions and check our work; she was only able to give us a fraction of the attention I experienced from my class last year. During the class, Lisa even expressed her irritation at the large class size. After my complaint to Kristin Langevin, she gave me many excuses and is adamant that they did nothing wrong, but she was willing to change us to a larger room. Nevertheless, the class size is still too big for one teacher. It just takes too long for Lisa to go around the room and give us meaningful and impactful feedback. Under current management, their focus seems to be maximizing revenue not quality of the class and they are not very interested in listening to student’s feedback. It is sad that Saratoga Arts does not appear to be interested in providing quality Art education to the Saratoga community anymore.

Loved the workshop I took - creating needle felted animals - and instructor. I learned alot, produced a good likeness of my dog and had lots of fun. Parking is a little tough but I found a place in a public lot nearby. I recommend you try a class.

She Loves Me was a delightful Musical! The actors, the costumes, the humor, everything was just so enjoyable. The stage and the setup of the theater was perfect.

What a treasure here in Saratoga! The current Member's Show hanging in the main gallery is so inspiring, and their staff is friendly, articulate, and engaging. I have taken many classes and workshops at Saratoga Arts as well as grant seminars, served on committees, and attended plays in the Dee Sarno Theater. Every time I am there I have a sense that I am being supported in my endeavors to improve myself as a professional artist and that so many others in our community are also being supported in their artistic work by this amazing organization.

Beautiful Highschool student show! Really enjoyed our visit there. Attendant very pleasant and knowledgeable. Loved it!

There were several local artist's displaying their work the day we were there. The staff was very well informed and helpful. Looking forward to another trip Saratoga.
