Nice place and not so crowded, lots of space to bike and walk dog. Cell service is horrible though...tmobile and verison barely work. Lots of screaming little girls running around with no parents to tell them to be quiet. NO kids allowed in hot tub really nice rule!!!

Great place to go camping with family. We had 3 families, a total of 9 family members. We reserved 2 floating cabins which the young kids, ages 4-11 loved. My brother & his wife reserved the campground at Lake 6 and pitched a tent. You need to reserve 6 months in advance with a deposit. The floating cabins are great with shower, toilet, cooktop, full refrigerator, microwave, queen bed, queen size futon sofa bed, outdoor grill & paddle boat. You must bring your own sheets & linens. On their website there is a list of what is provided & what you must bring. Cabins are clean & stocked with paper goods, plastic utencils along with cooking pots & pans and large kitchen utencils. Worth going whether you have kids or not. Lots of things to do - biking, walking, fishing, paddle boats, swimming pool, playground, restaurant & camping.

The campground was clean and quiet. The bathrooms and showers were clean, and the showers had plenty of hot water. We enjoyed the pools and the spa, and took a paddleboat out for spin around a lake. There are several playground areas that looked enticing, but we didn't have a chance to try them. We did use the laundry room, which had several newer washers and dryers; you can use quarters, credit card, or a wash card available at the general store. Angry Pete's Pizza Place is fantastic, and has more than their excellent pizza. Highly recommended! The staff we interacted with were pleasant and helpful. The kids had a great time. We would definitely stay there again!

Parking is $4 for a regular car. Other than the fact you have to pay for the parking, everything is great. A lot of open space, birds, a couple of lakes, you can rent a pedal boat for $12/ half an hour or $16/h. Different playgrounds for kids. Its a really nice area to come with your kid or even yourself and relax

This is a great state park we spent 5 weeks at. We had a couple of different rv sites, my last rv site was better than the first, but both sites were level and clean. This is a state park so ants can be problematic; so make sure you have Diatomaceous Earth. The park has several fishing ponds, and is great for long walks as the park is huge. Different parts of the park have different atmosphere, so you may want to be aware of that. Some parts of the park are close together, and on rocky road gravel, but most spots are spacious and hard-packed. Over-all a great state park for RVs.

Clean and quite. Love the space. For paying such a premium price you would think that you would be allowed to put up a play pin for your babies. If you don't allow it for dogs that's fine. We are literally talking about a ten month old having a safe area to play . If play pins are in a "gray area" maybe someone should address it. Maybe make a rule specifically for dogs and allow kids to be kids. Some compassion goes a long way.

It’s been a min since my family & I have been here, but came the the other day & it looks way better, new outdoor restaurant & a deck & a beautiful scenery, definitely coming back.
