We’ve been swimming here every chance we can for the last 10 years. It has always been crowded but at least now it’s more organized. They have a gift shop with a pretty decent selection, shirts, cups, stickers and whatnot that are reasonably priced. Clean restroom to change in. And the new parking lot looks so much better. They’ve added so many tables & I think 2 shaded pavilions. That cold water calls my name every summer. We spent 4 hours swimming in that ice bath Saturday. We got there at 9 & around 11:30 it was pretty crowded. Not uncomfortably but big difference between the No crowd at 9 to the family vans at 11am. Bring your sunscreen, goggles & a picnic then enjoy this chill spot while watch the scuba divers learn the game.
Free , Blue hole its one of natural swimming holes, if you are a dare devil to jump and swim in a 81 feet down. Go for it but its on your risk . Its a nice place next to santa rosa convention center.
Such a beautiful relaxing environment, went a while back even during cloudy days it’s a nice get away . Would love to go and learn to dive here
Its really only interesting if you plan on scuba diving in it, i thought it might be cool to check out maybe there were other caves or an area you could walk through but its just paved parking lot with a big crystal clear hole. Its great for divers but not really worth it for anyone else.
Well of Water Springing up to Eternal Life.. This is one of the Mysterious places in the world, underground caves , and the natural lakes New Mexico has... the place is a preferred location for family gathering...
Awesome Route 66 stop. Natural water hole great for a swim during hotter days. Fun seeing divers just after Christmas
Very pretty place! Locals said it is a natural swimming hole, not man made. Lots of deep water divers there when I was there, small little swimming hole, have to share with many other people. To beat the crowd probably get there early in morning, popular place.
We stopped by here after exiting the highway looking for a grocery store. Several signs saying 'Blue Hole' piqued our curiosity and we decided to see what all the signs were about. We paid $10 to park and no admission fee. There were bathrooms/changing rooms on-site that were clean and well maintained. We spent about 3 hours here and enjoyed jumping in the VERY COLD water. With a temperature of about 110°F the day we were there it felt great to jump in there. There is also a small stream running out of the 'hole' that small children were playing in that was also very cold. There were some there diving that day, but we were not prepared to dive. There were several life guards on duty. If we're in the area of Santa Rosa again we will most likely end up spending a few hours at this fun park.
