Santa Paula Inn - Featured Reviews (170)
The main selling point of this Inn was the lovely patio out back, where I enjoyed eating breakfast. However, there are drinking establishments with outdoor live music playing until 10pm each night, that make it impossible to have any peace & quiet in the rooms on that side of the building. The room was lacking basic furniture, there was no where to put my clothes except keep them in my suitcase. No dresser, no shelves. The mattress did appear to be fairly new, and once the noise stopped I was able to sleep well. I would not stay here again.
The Santa Paula Inn was a pleasant little discovery. While it lacks a swimming pool, it is a great place to stay if you like early 20th century architecture. Despite its age, however, the Inn has modern, sanitary upgrades like smooth, wood-look tile floors and nice showers. The owner was also friendly and professional, and the Inn is within walking distance of Main Street and the excellent Rabelais restaurant. Well-priced at around $120 a night.
The Santa Paula Inn is in a great location. Just steps to its downtown area with many restaurants. The Inn has plenty of parking in the back. Best thing about the place was the innkeeper. He was very personable and helpful with advice on restaurants and attractions. The hotel was a bit dated, but definitely worth the stay.
A cute little hotel in downtown Santa Paula.
The receptionist was so nice and attentive when we checked in.
Rooms were clean and they’re so big! We were especially surprised at the size of the restroom, we felt so small!
There’s a cute little patio on the back and good enough parking for all guests.
Everything was perfect except one thing. There wasn't anybody there dealing with the other patrons who were making noise up to 2:30 in the morning. Unfortunately we didn't sleep for 1 night and they didn't offer to reimburse for the night. I had to call twice to reach somebody but in the end, someone did come by and tell the others to be quiet. It's a great spot but I won't stay there again unless they fix that issue.
Pros: The price is reasonable, the location is right next to restaurants and a downtown area, the room was clean.
Cons: the walls are PAPER THIN. Without exaggeration we could hear entire conversations from outside and other rooms. There was also no one manning the front desk at all so it felt like anyone could walk in off the street. While the rooms seem to have been updated recently (wood floor and no carpet on our first floor room), it still felt very old. You could see the light coming in from outside through the cracks around the tv and the bathroom door handle had to be jiggled to work properly.
Overall the quality for the price you pay was very good and the little interaction we had with the staff was friendly. If you’re a heavy sleeper then this is a good option on a budget.
Rooms are clean and staff were nice and attentive. I would recommend this hotel for a quick visit to the area. There are a few restaurants and cafes right around the corner.
The room was a bit small, but everthing else was great. Front desk service was very good. Got to check in early with no issues and the best part was apparently there was some fixing going on room right next to mine at 7 PM ish and it went on for awhile (noisy) so I called the front desk and they took care of it right away and I thought that was great service because they could have easily said I'm sorry we have to fix this issue right now. Fridge worked great, ceiling fan was a nice touch.
Itâs a beautiful place, rich with history. It feels like youâre stepping back in time. The rooms are decorated beautifully and are always clean. The jacuzzi spa baths are always a plus! Beds are comfortable as well. Staff is always kind and welco
It is such a great place to bring your kids and families or yourself. There is a lot to see and get close to many different aircraft from airplanes, helicopters, hot air balloons, and many many more. It happens every first weekend or Sunday of the mo

First time here, we arrived around noon on Sun to meet up with friends for lunch, parking spots were half taken and very very tight so we ended up parking in the residential area around the corner.
Timing was just perfect, we were able to place our f
