It’s been awhile since I’ve been here but the food was always consistent. However, I did see that since covid they had to limit their menu. No problem they will make some of my favorites. Staff was nice and pleasant when I was there. Place was clean. They used to carry sweet plantains and aji de gallina (chicken stew in a sandwich). The aji de gallina was very savory. They still make chicharron, fried yuca, and peru poutine. Chicharron is braised then fried pig butt. It’s a very tasty sandwich and that parsley mayo just increases the flavor. Meat was very moist and tender. Fried yuca is a must get with your meal. I actually had peru poutine with adobo and that’s like a meal on its own. They do have plenty of parking. I’ll have to come back sometime. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Stopped in for a late lunch. I had the Chicharron sandwich with the salad on the side. The sandwich tasted great; very nice combo of flavors. The salad was a cold quinoa, white bean, and vegetables mix that was a great compliment. Plus it was way healthier than fries! Hot sauce and beef empanada was also delicious. I met the Chef/Owner and he was a nice dude!

Quinoa salad was refreshing and Adobo de Cerdo was a good sandwich. Very heavy on seasoning with most dishes. A little disappointed when asked for water, they did not have it? Ended up buying a drink instead. Overall, could make some improvements with food quality to make it a better restaurant.

This place is honestly the best. They deserve to flourish. Food is 10/10 have had almost every sandwich. My favorites are the Milanesa and the quinoa burger but all of them are great. They really have the best Peruvian food in Illinois.

If you haven’t been, please give this family owned one of a kind place a try. Super friendly staff with great authentic Peruvian food. We tried the ceviche (weekends only during the summer) which was so well executed in taste and presentation. Milanese sandwich was a delight served with the quinoa salad. Super causal dine in location - the dining room was a bit tired though the incredible food made me nearly forget about the lackluster design since it’s really all about the tasty food. We shared our food and tried the homemade blue corn drink called chicha morada which reminded me of Jamaica. Highly recommend this unique restaurant tucked into a strip mall. Love love 💗 loved this place with three home runs on our first visit.

I try many restaurants and I always look after flavors an ethnic and cultural backgrounds in the food. The food is not made to order some are microwave heated then serve. beans taste like of the can. Even the French fries where pre-heated in front of me. The mom and son seam to be the ones that run the place son seams to have some anger management an you can sure taste it on the food. There is nothing more tasting then food that's prepare from the heart. I asked for some side salsa and was told there is ketchup on the counter top we don't have spicy or other kind of sauce for your empanadas. Then later ones my food arrived they came with a side of Mayoketchup and a spicy sauce that could really had complimented my empanada making it a solid 10. Bad management makes this business leave me with a bitter taste not to come back ever. Peru is really rich on ethical food The most famous dish ceviche not serve an only made limited times. If you want preheated food definitely recommended. If you want food prepared well and to order go to a real restaurant. Love the fried plantains and the chicha morada drink. Great fries. Sandwiches grew on me the next day. Gave the alfajores cookies to friends and they loved them.

Ate here for lunch today for the first time. Food was absolutely amazing, made fresh right in front of us it was well worth the short wait. Will definitely be coming back to try more of the sandwiches very soon!
