A Classic Bite at Sandy's – Old Fashioned Hamburgers 🍔⏳
🌟🍔 Our recent stop at Sandy's – Old Fashioned Hamburgers offered a classic taste of nostalgia with their Old Fashioned Hamburger. Complete with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and mustard, it was a reminiscent journey to the good old days of simple, no-frills burgers.
Opting for the version with cheese and bacon elevated the experience, adding a touch of savory goodness to each bite. The flavors were on point, and the ingredients tasted fresh.
While the classic vibes and friendly service were noteworthy, we found the overall experience to be a solid 6 out of 10. The burger was tasty, but we were left craving a bit more excitement to push it into the higher ranks.
Sandy's is undoubtedly a spot for those seeking a traditional burger experience. If you're in the mood for simplicity and a taste of the past, this could be the place for you.

Sandy’s is ok, unfortunately they only have outside seating which was odd because the tables were located near the drive thru, don’t know about you but I didn’t want to enjoy my burger with a side of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and Nitrogen oxides.
They just didn’t offer anything that was signature, no secret sauce, homemade ranch (no ranch), no peppers nothing that stood out. It was like going to a friend for a bbq with burgers on the menu, the fries were good but dunno. I probably would’ve preferred Whataburger since we don’t get either in Los Angeles!
Outside seating, dog friendly
Outdoor seating only. There are bathrooms available.
Next time I would get double meat for the hamburger. The ratio of bread to meat wasn't appropriate for a single patty.
Corn dog was made fresh.
I got a large Oreo shake. Felt great in the 105° heat.
The best milk shake place in Austin. Fries is normal. Burger is average. However, the shake is so crazy!
Got the chicken sandwich and fries. The chicken in the sandwich was a bit small for my preference but still very good. Fries were warm and tasted fresh. Very fast service and short wait time for food. The seating area’s nice although pretty hot in the Austin summer weather. I assume it’d be nicer in the fall. Will come back to try the burgers and ice cream :)
If you are ever in Austin! Try this place out! One of the oldest hamburger spot in Austin! They have a thrusday special too. Hamburger combo for 8 bucks!
Delicious strawberry shake. Lots of parking and shaded tables in back. Outdoor seating only. Walk up order or drive thru.
The best way I can describe the burger- it’s what a Whataburger used to taste like before they sold out. The burger was great, and the shake was delicious. It’s a classic burger stand with picnic tables in the back. Will definitely return. Side note- it doesn’t matter if they don’t have indoor seating. It lets the team focus on making good food instead of cleaning up people’s mess.

After seeing the sign many times, I finally got the chance to try Dan's Hamburgers for lunch. The dining area inside of the restaurant is smaller than I expected but well arranged; there is no table service, one has to place the order then look for a
Come here with an empty stomach! The burgers are delicious and you will not leave disappointed. We had the Llano Poblano, double bacon jam, and the thunderbird burger. On the side Truffle and regular fries to share. Also two kids meals, but for a 5 a
No frills, made-to-order, drive thru/walk up, burger joint (no seating). Think of PTerryâs without the upscale retro look, but classic diner-style burger. Their fries have the right combination of crispiness & salt. Add jalapeños and have the bun
We had a good experience here. The service was friendly and fast. They have tables inside and outside. They have highchairs and an awesome playground. It is all fenced in and the ground is padded so it is safe and fun for the kids. The food was

If you like burgers and fries you're in for a treat!!!
We always get the cheeseburger and it's always cooked hot and fresh ready to go. Comparable to Whataburger and P Terry's... But even a little bit faster and more centrally located!

Elite coffee spot. I make a physical effort to stop by each time I'm in town, and I'd be here every day if I lived in Austin. Try the pumpkin spice latte, they make it the perfect level of not too sweet
Our experience at Bar AC was fantastic! We had a great time and it was a wonderful send-off for our friend. The cocktails were top-notch, and the service was excellent. Courtney, our waitress, was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. If

Great place to train! My husband and I visited this gym and felt very welcomed. People are very friendly. The instruction is very thorough. Whether you are looking for a gym to train or visit, Iâd highly recommend them. Weâll be back ð
A feeling of calm radiates from this lovely coffee truck. I observed many regulars (including pups) interacting in a community way. A canopy of a ginormous pecan tree gives the Terrible Love protection as well protecting some of the abundant greener
This place is fantastic! I had such a great workout! The treadmills are excellent, and you can actually feel a difference between Strideâs treadmills and regular ones. The teacher Rachael was clear and encouraging. The vibes were great: modificatio
My son (high school freshman) loves going to the Legends classes and comes out drenched in sweat each time. Shockingly he hasnât complained even once and clocks 5-6 days of hour-long workouts each week. And heâs a guy whoâs never done any serio

I love this gym. Its cleaner, bigger, and better maintained than some others. The coaches are always great, and big shout out to Coach Michael Lombard is especially motivating and fun!
Visited Austin for the weekend and took the free trial at Ambush. It was awesome and I would definitely recommend checking this gym out. I've been training Muay Thai and MMA for ~ 2-3 years now and this gym is great for learning Muay Thai and striki
