A Classic Bite at Sandy's – Old Fashioned Hamburgers 🍔⏳ 🌟🍔 Our recent stop at Sandy's – Old Fashioned Hamburgers offered a classic taste of nostalgia with their Old Fashioned Hamburger. Complete with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, and mustard, it was a reminiscent journey to the good old days of simple, no-frills burgers. Opting for the version with cheese and bacon elevated the experience, adding a touch of savory goodness to each bite. The flavors were on point, and the ingredients tasted fresh. While the classic vibes and friendly service were noteworthy, we found the overall experience to be a solid 6 out of 10. The burger was tasty, but we were left craving a bit more excitement to push it into the higher ranks. Sandy's is undoubtedly a spot for those seeking a traditional burger experience. If you're in the mood for simplicity and a taste of the past, this could be the place for you.

Sandys Late Post 23’ 3.5/5 Sandy’s is ok, unfortunately they only have outside seating which was odd because the tables were located near the drive thru, don’t know about you but I didn’t want to enjoy my burger with a side of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and Nitrogen oxides. They just didn’t offer anything that was signature, no secret sauce, homemade ranch (no ranch), no peppers nothing that stood out. It was like going to a friend for a bbq with burgers on the menu, the fries were good but dunno. I probably would’ve preferred Whataburger since we don’t get either in Los Angeles! Outside seating, dog friendly

Outdoor seating only. There are bathrooms available. Next time I would get double meat for the hamburger. The ratio of bread to meat wasn't appropriate for a single patty. Corn dog was made fresh. I got a large Oreo shake. Felt great in the 105° heat.

The best milk shake place in Austin. Fries is normal. Burger is average. However, the shake is so crazy!

Got the chicken sandwich and fries. The chicken in the sandwich was a bit small for my preference but still very good. Fries were warm and tasted fresh. Very fast service and short wait time for food. The seating area’s nice although pretty hot in the Austin summer weather. I assume it’d be nicer in the fall. Will come back to try the burgers and ice cream :)

If you are ever in Austin! Try this place out! One of the oldest hamburger spot in Austin! They have a thrusday special too. Hamburger combo for 8 bucks!

Delicious strawberry shake. Lots of parking and shaded tables in back. Outdoor seating only. Walk up order or drive thru.

The best way I can describe the burger- it’s what a Whataburger used to taste like before they sold out. The burger was great, and the shake was delicious. It’s a classic burger stand with picnic tables in the back. Will definitely return. Side note- it doesn’t matter if they don’t have indoor seating. It lets the team focus on making good food instead of cleaning up people’s mess.

If you like burgers and fries you're in for a treat!!! We always get the cheeseburger and it's always cooked hot and fresh ready to go. Comparable to Whataburger and P Terry's... But even a little bit faster and more centrally located! Enjoy 😁ðŸ
