A great park to visit. A large pavilion, a good playground, and lots of green space.
There is also a pond with great wildlife. Ducks, pelicans, fish, and tons of great plants.
My kid made me go fishing here 6 days in a row. It didn't take much convincing. Best pond in the Salt Lake Valley. This pond gets stocked way more often than what's reported on the dwr website. Still have the best luck with worms.
Fun place for kids. Covered eating area with 6 benches. The bathrooms dont have baby changing tables but are clean. The ducks are friendly but remember bread is BAD. If you want to feed them bring bird seed. The grounds are very well kept. The playground is nice with wood chips and no graffiti.
Very peaceful. Fishing doesn't seem to be great today. But still fun. It has a great pier and facilities.

Found a turtle in the road trying to make his way to the other side of the street so before he was hit I had my son get out of the car and help him get out of the road and out of the hot sun.
