These cabins are ALWAYS so well kept. It's always clean and organized instead. Everything smells fresh and clean. There are plenty of different sizes of cabins for specific groups. Larger and smaller sizes. Yes the prices are very expensive (especially during the month of June and the beginning of July). But extremely worth it. The owners who run this place are always very sensitive, talkative, sweet, and caring. I haven't been here in a few years unfortunately. But last time the owners would keep there dog instead the smaller store and just talk and be extremely friendly. There is a site specifically for a washer and dryer. There's a basketball court. Games to play close to the beach. Somewhat uncomfortable beach chairs in front of each cabin. Some tables for people to sit outside to get a better view of the lake. There are multiple cabins to choose from and different angles you can get from each cabin. I seriously feel like it's worth the price. There's also a docking station to take your boat or jet skis in and out without hassle, or worry you'll need to drive further to a different docking station. Which I feel is important to have! Docking stations for your boat on each side. I think there's only one docking station and I think it's next to cabin #1 if I'm remembering correctly!

A nice Minnesota up north resort. Good docks with a good boat launch. Really nice people. Have stayed there a couple times.

Our cabin was right on the beach. Quiet even with people around. Outdoor games, shop with food, tennis court, kayaks and canoes to borrow

Awesome place for a getaway! The staff is super friendly and very helpful. We had an issue with a circuit breaker and they immediately came and determined the issue and solved the problem. Super clean cabins and grounds with a great office with all the supplies you need! Also located on beautiful Gull Lake with its own private boat landing.

Sandy Beach is one of the best little resorts I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. If you want hi tech up to date places to stay, this is NOT it but if you want a nice peaceful rustic lakeside stay with nice clean basic cabins, you cannot beat a stay here. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the store on premises is not a price gouge and actually really fair priced. I will be back next year for sure and many years to come. Great place to come with the family! Cabins are a bit older but are always kept very clean and in good shape! Beds are comfortable, And the views are great! Awesome beach! Bring your boat and dock it. They have boat lifts and fishing boats for rent too! Cute shop with candy, snacks, essential needs, t-shirts and souvenirs.

We have stayed here for more than 15 years as a family reunion location, each and every year. Great atmosphere, great staff. If you are expecting up to date latest renovations and 5 star tourist trap, this place is not for you. If you are looking for a cabin/camp type feeling without over-crowding, clean, quiet, amazing beach, and a fair price - this place is for you.

We came here for 30 years, but have moved on. They have a great beach, but they don’t make the most out of it. Really, it would be better utilized if Grandview just bought it out. The cabins are dirty and the customer service is severely lacking. No restaurant, they used to offer boats and docks for every cabin and that’s gone. Really has deteriorated. Lots of great resorts on Gull, seriously stay somewhere else.
