Stayed here a couple times, will probably book again. It's about the best overall value in the area. Hotel is older but well maintained and updated decently. I'd likely have given a 5 star review (quality relative to the cost)However there is something that costs a star in my review. The carpets are filthy. I'd guess maybe cleaned once a year? I let my 4 year old walk from bed to bed twice and his feet turned black on the bottoms. You'd think he'd spent a little time in a WV Coal mine???!!! I don't know what's the deal with this.....Anyway still a 4 star rating.
I have stayed here four times and each time has exceeded my expectations. Their prices are impossible to beat, the rooms are clean, and the family that owns it is great! It is owned and ran by a couple and their son and they are dedicated to creating a fun, safe, and enjoyable environment. Instead of knocking in the morning for room service, they are always walking around throughout the day and when everyone is getting back from the park because they don’t want to wake you up if you want to sleep in. It’s that kind of attention to detail and care that keeps me coming back. Also, I have never had a bad experience with other guests, which I typically do at any other motel I’ve stayed at. Not sure how they do it, but it is amazing! A low price for a high quality stay, what more could you ask for? The rooms aren’t huge and there isn’t free breakfast, but if you don’t care about the “luxuries”, this place is perfect. They do have a pool though, which is pretty cool for the price. Plus, it’s a ten minute drive to Cedar Point, which is great!! All in all, Sandusky Inn is a 10/10 and I’ll be staying here each and every time I visit Cedar Point.
Needed a place for Cedar Point that would fit 6 people, but everything within 20 minutes of the park was sold out. We were a little unsure about what this place would be like. However, our expectations were exceeded. The Sandusky Inn was perfect for our needs. It was older, but recently remodeled. It was very clean and the air conditioning was cold. The shower was amazing water pressure and temperature. If you are expecting a high end posh hotel, you will be disappointed. If you are looking for a frugal, safe, clean place to sleep while you spend most of your time (and your saved money!) at the park, you will not be disappointed. The owners are a family that cares and it really shows. It was great!!!
Great little place to stay! It's located in the middle of pretty much everything. Rooms were small but very clean and comfortable. Both the fridge and microwave were very clean, and the air conditioner worked extremely well. The pool was very clean and well kept. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful. Would happily stay again especially for the price!
rooms are small but the bathroom is way too small. you cannot use the toilet comfortably because the door is touching your leg. the shower is nice but dated and ours was visibly clean. some towels have stains and some don’t. good pillows and a comfy bed. clean microwave and mini fridge. no off putting smells in the room. this room had a gnat issue but no other bugs were seen during our stay. the overall look of the room/hotel could be described as “the landlord special”. all that being said, we paid $90 a night so we knew what we were signing up for. i’m just happy that it was clean for the most part and it was in an good location.
The rooms were small but fit two people comfortably. The staff was absolutely WONDERFUL. Everyone was kind, always ready to help, and gave us lots of amenities/treats. There is a pool on property. The location is on the main street for Sandusky and is thus very close to everything. Cedar Point is about a five minute drive. Was amazing for the price and would absolutely go again!
I stayed here while we visited cedar point. The room 111 is small and a little dated. The staff is very kind and the pool was clean! This was a really great value for what you pay!
The rooms are small, but you can look at them before you book. We were on a budget, so stayed here. It's almost 5 miles or about 12 minutes from Cedar Point amusement park, and close to many restaurants and stores. The staff is very nice and accommodating. They also have a pool, ice machine, and the rooms have a mini fridge, coffee maker, TV, a wall mounted A/C and microwave.
This was our first time ever staying at a B&B and it did not disappoint. The property is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. All the staff and guests were extremely kind and helpful. Everything was sooo clean. The food was phenomenal. We couldn't have
If you are driving near here or live near here make sure to stop! The food is absolutely delicious. Got the pulled pork and brisket. Both were fantastic. And we couldnât decide on what sides to get so we got 5 - beans, mac salad, mac&cheese, colesl
