Sandstone Creek Club - Hotel in Vail - 1020 Vail View Dr, USA

We exchanged through Interval International for a one-bedroom with a loft condo. The resort is located in a residential area across the Interstate from Vail Village. It is a very quiet area and great for just sitting on the balcony and relaxing. Vail Village runs a shuttle bus that picks up at the top of their driveway every hour and takes visitors into town. There is a Safeway store about ten minutes away for shopping.||Check-in went very smoothly. Front desk personnel explained the layout of the resort and the rules for guests. When we had questions, they had answers. ||The condo itself was very clean and well-stocked. There was an ample supply of towels, etc. The kitchen was well furnished with glasses and dishes. The king bed in the master bedroom was comfortable. There were two twin beds in the loft.||We would definitely come here again and would recommend Sandstone Creek Club to anyone coming to Vail.

This was our 2nd time staying here. Our unit was spacious and we'll furnished tho not as large as the one we had before - tho this one had 3 full baths and had a W/D in the unit. Kitchen was tight for more than one person but very well furnished and kitchen items all updated and plentiful. Beds were comfy and nice towels and toiletries. Indoor/outdoor is very nice along with two hot tubs and sauna and steam room. Appreciated the bus to the slopes. They did extra things like S'mores mid week and cookies on arrival. Like the new lockers for skis as they are upstairs off lobby now.

A friend who has a week of time sharing in June invited me to the Sandstone Creek club and we spent a few days Mountain biking. I found the Rooms to be very clean And the facility to be well maintained and operated. The facility is right next to Sandstone Creek and the whole area is well landscaped. I definitely appreciated the separate room to store our bikes in where they could be locked up.

Really cute little place to visit Vail during the summer. Lots of stuff for the family to do, it's just outside the city which feels more part of nature, but a quick drive into town. If you get a room with a view of the creek it's just kismet. The pool is super warm; the Putt-Putt is kitchy but fun.

Had a 2 bedroom unit. It was very clean and updated. Great location. Staff was very friendly and provided many recommendations. Vail is beautiful

I have been coming to this place for years. I absolutely love the location and the amenities and the whole experience, except for the exceptionally poor customer service. Especially from the man at the front desk. He is extremely unprofessional and unpleasant- downright RUDE. Makes me not want to go back! They should get rid of him ASAP! They might get more revenue and happier customers.

Third stay at Sandstone Creek and each time we've been pleased. Staff and facilities are great and we haven't been disappointed yet. Shuttle service is a great convenience! Rooms are no fancy but great for family and quiet time. Building is constructed of concrete and stone pavers so rooms tend to be very quiet without noise leaking from adjacent rooms. Pool and hot tub were great relaxation tools after skiing for the day.

We stayed at this property quite a number of years ago on an Interval International exchange and this was the same situation. I think we were in the same unit we had the last time and we were pleased the property is just as clean as we remembered, and it appears there have been a few upgrades in the furniture. The overall place has held up, in that the common areas seem in good shape and the exercise room and pool areas are as well. The front desk person who checked us in was friendly and very nice and he was there again on Friday as well. The Saturday morning guy who checked us out needs work on his people skills - not the nicest experience dealing with him, but thankfully it was brief. We had a studio connected to a hotel room, and it served our purposes. We appreciated being able to get a covered parking space, especially since it snowed overnight on our last day. We didn't use the shuttle but appreciate that not only does it take folks to Vail resort, but also to grocery stores when needed. We liked that there is Netflix, Max, Hulu, Amazon Prime and other streaming services available. The couple of negatives I would mention are the bathrooms need serious upgrades. One of our bathrooms had a big crack in the floor tiles I remember from our last visit, and that was at least six or seven years ago. Old wooden doors and a pedestal sink, so no under cabinet storage. The other thing I didn't like is there isn't 24 hour front desk. Not that we're in need overnight most of the time, but it would be great to have someone watching over the place between 11 pm and 7 am, just in case. Other than that, the property worked out okay for our needs.
