Definitely not what I expected at all. Great check on process, the guy at the front desk was so very patient,kind, and helpful. And for the price....with all the amenities...who could complain. The room im in is very nice, very clean and cozy. I think it maybe newly remodeled. Definitely a spot I will be returning to in the future.
Awesome place and the front desk was very polite and accommodating. We asked a question he answered also how the rooms are excellent shape. Because they're freshly remodeled. Will definitely come back and stay when I'm in town highly recommend it.
I give it 5 stars relative to the price point, which for the other places in the area is cheap at ~60 bucks. The desk clerk was prompt and polite. They only had a smoking room left, but I needed a place so I took it. On first look the room seemed clean. Bed was neat. Went to the bathroom, and other than what was probably a towel rack that at one point had been pulled from the wall, the bathroom was in good shape and clean. I stayed here as part as a cross country road trip, and compared to the other motels I've stayed at this is definitely one of the better ones. Again, it's a cheap place, but I think you definitely get your money's worth.
Absolutely terrible. I went hoping I'd go for a nice swim in their seemingly beautiful pool, that was the first thing. The clerk told me the pool was closed for an indefinite amount of time. Do you not want to clean it? Is that used for bait? We went into our room, the bed was hard, and the room was furnished like a motel in the 1980's. The room was dirty, there were strange little threads all over the place that looked as if there were blood on them. Nothing updated. Shoddy construction, and a terrible air conditioner. The shower sprayed all over the room, and the bathtub was full by the time i finished a shower. Not to mention the fighting next door, and the sounds of busting glass at 2am. I wouldn't recommend this place to an enemy.
This is by far the worst place we have ever stayed in. They tried to tell us that a double bed was a king!!! I think not! The mattress had a metal ring around the edge and it was painfull to sit and then you just rolled to the center bc it was so soft. The TV didn't work, the Internet didn't work and we had bought a case of fresh strawberries and put them into the fridge overnight and in the morning they were rock hard frozen. I was so upset and took them to an employee and all I got was a smirk and a shrug of the shoulders. I was furious. The price was 75.00. Not even worth 5.00. Whatever you do, don't EVER stay here. Let them go belly up!!! People like this should NEVER run a hotel/motel.
Just stayed there for one night. It was a very pleasant experience. The room was newly remodeled, nice and clean. The staff friendly and it is close to Livermore downtown. And not to mention the price: < $60 !! Yes, for two persons! Next time we go wine-tasting in the Livermore area, Sands will be our choice of motel.
This is an older motel, the owners are working to remodel it, the doors have key locks and it is easy to get to and from freeway and to center of town. They have smoking and non-smoking rooms, and a pool, I am not aware of a gym on premise. the rooms are set back from the road so noise is normally not a problem. The nearest restaurants are about a mile in three directions from the motel. Theaters, performing arts theater aout 1 mile west of motel in town center.
Id give 0 stars for this place if it was an option. The guy at the front desk (Andy) prob not even his real name tells me to try another motel after i had already booked the week here. Thought it was a little weird he was trying to run off buisness but im working down here from out of town and needed a place to lock up for the week. Stayed the week and checked out friday. I booked this stay on Sunday the 8th for 9th thru 12th. I called back to book another week as i still need a place to stay. CAlled on sunday to book for mon-thur again. This time he said that he needed 48hr in advance to book a room..that he didnt know if i was going to cancel. I informed the guy at the counter or wherever he was taking this call that i stayed there last week and needed to book again. No help, no solution jus very bad customer service and told me he couldnt help the manager couldnt help and the owner was not there. Is this place just a front? Good luck to those who try this place.. good luck understanding Andys logic and buisness ethics.
