From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and efficient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities I needed for a pleasant stay.

Do not trust the photos you see on this place and avoid at all costs. Unclean, bugs, sink falls out the wall, you can forget about taking a shower. I feel as though i was scammed. Blankets provided feel like curtains.

Can’t finish everything writing. There was no hot water when I completed the owner said no one else got problems why do you ? The rooms smells like cigarettes. There’s too many cigarettes wholes in the blanket. When I said it he said they don’t have any extra blankets. Cant even sit on bathroom it was that congested. I will just add some pic to show.

Positive: For the price that I paid I expected a better quality hotel Negative: Noisy and cheap quality stuffs very small towels only 2 toilet bowl was moving I expected better than that.

We were glad to get 2 low cost rooms for 2 nights & 3 days at the Sands Motel, but you get what you pay for. The landlord wasn't even present when we arrived. We had to call multiple times just to check in. As did several other guests. He kept disappearing. Free WiFi? It took 2 nights just to get the Sands "free" internet to show up on our phones, but NEITHER password we were given worked. One of the rooms had a corner toilet with a triangular back. That toilet leaked constantly. The other toilet wobbled. The sinks were dirty & had hair in them. Very watery soap in the soap holder. Bathroom walls were filthy, had cobwebs, ants, a dead roach, & no trash bag. The shower walls were filthy & warped & the bottom is broken. Broken tiles & frayed carpet leading into the bathroom. The rooms themselves were filthy. Floors are dirty, under bed is dirty. No trash bags, lights in the rooms flicker on & off at will. My room is missing a knob on the light so we can only use the switch. The walls & ceiling are peeling & cracking. There is a broken outlet under the AC unit & a smoke detector just sitting on the counter. Curtains held up with tape. My daughter's blanket has big holes in it. The sheets weren't changed in my room. I don't think the landlord is happy about us having noticed that. It looks like they covered the beds with a fresh topsheet, but the bottom sheets were not changed at the time & you could still see the wrinkles & the body dent of a person. Some hair, etc. There was a fresh blood stain on the topsheet however. I called & asked for new sheets. The landlord was not pleased & proceeded yell at me over the phone about my check-in time & how I just noticed the sheets this late. How absolutely absurd! Why would I be turning down the bed before bedtime? LOL He proceeded to berate me for about 5 minutes then told me to come to the office for sheets but I can change them myself! This place & this "man" are absolutely disgraceful & disturbing. PLEASE STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Positive: Had a pool but they had it closed Negative: This hotel purposely added chemicals to the pool Sunday morning so the sold out motel guests couldn?t use it Sunday morning. Very bad business

Its was around 69$ per night on weekends. Dont expect much. Washrooms aren't that great. For that price point at this location, you can't get more than this. I was seeing other places, that would could cost at least 160$-300$. So the price we pay, the comfort we get!!

This little motel was perfect for our trip! The room was clean, the queen beds were actually queen sized and comfortable, there was cable tv with very clean smelling linens on it! What more could you ask for! A mini fridge, microwave and mini coffeemaker all in the room as well. The owner was a very kind and accommodating man who obviously takes pride in his motel. There’s a lovely outdoor pool that my 7 year old absolutely loved too! Highly recommend!!
