Sands Harbor Resort & Marina - Resort hotel in Pompano Beach - 125 N Riverside Dr, USA

The awesome experience started as soon as my soon to be wife and I walked in the front doors. We were greeted at the front desk by Kortney. She was so professional and friendly. When check-in starts like this, this late in the evening we knew we booked the right place for our first visit to south Florida. |The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It didn't stop there because the restaurant was amazing!! To be honest the whole property was obviously owned and operated by people that really care about their guests experience. We'll definitely be back!

Have been to Pompano Beach several times and decided to try Sands Harbor Resort Hotel to celebrate my Birthday as well as my wife’s. Pulled up to easy valet parking and when we were in line to check in, we noticed the Manager Raymond and Juliette working diligently to get everyone checked in quickly. He offered us a glass of champagne, while we waited which brightened the experience immediately. Check in was easy and we got a beautiful room on the 7th floor. Our room was large and very clean and the view was awesome. I would recommend booking a room on the upper floors if you can. The inter coastal views of this hotel are incredible. Raymond also brought us a plate of birthday cake and that made our day. Then we went right down to the sparkling pool and was greeted by a friendly server Hanna who took great care of us. The Tiki Bar overlooking the water and right next to the pool was perfect. Live entertainment started at 7pm. The hotel is a 4-5 minute walk to the beach and Pier so it’s a perfect location. We have stayed at several Hotels and this experience was the best mostly due to the excellent customer service from Raymond and the friendly service from Juliette and Hanna. Customer service always makes the experience better. We will be staying at Sands Harbor again..!!

What a terrific hidden treasure! The Sands has been around forever, but the renovations that they have made and are still making have sent this hotel/resort to the top of our list for a great vacation. We drove our boat from Palm Beach County and docked at the marina (they couldn't have been nicer and more helpful at the marina) and then stayed for two nights in a beautiful, newly renovated King room with an amazing view of the Intracoastal. Juliette at the front desk was lovely, helpful, and always had a smile on her face. Raymond and Melissa were a highlight for us! My husband and I had visited the Sands almost 25 years ago when we started dated. We mentioned that to Raymond and Melissa. They had champagne, glasses and a lovely note in our room, without us even knowing, in a matter of minutes. It was so incredibly kind and thoughtful. Our whole experience was wonderful. The drinks and food are delicious too. With the continued renovations that are happening, this will not be a hidden treasure for long. We will be returning and will recommend this resort to others. Thanks for a great time!

Wonderful experience, the manager and all of the services staff there were extremely friendly and loving. We were with kids at one point and came back down again at a second point and there was no miss. Absolutely love the place. Would stay there again and actually will stay there in October. Keith and John were fantastic and the girl with the braids. Absolutely adorable. And apparently I should mention Courtney at the front desk. I didn't know about her but apparently she was freaking amazing lol we love you guys and we'll see you again in October

My husband and I love the Sands Harbor Resort and Marina! The view is beautiful from the rooms and the restaurants. The patio has fabulous food, drinks and wait staff. The General Manager David is one of the best. He makes sure all of the guests are being taken care of and that the service is impeccable. I have to say that David went over and above recently to accommodate my parents who who live locally… they had a flood in their condo and we contacted the hotel to reserve a room for them for a few nights. David followed-up to make sure the reservation went through and that they were taken care of. Truly appreciated! Love this place! We will be back soon! Dennis & Connie

I am Extremely Grateful to Raymond for helping me in this trip. I came here with my Husband who is in a wheelchair. I had the best time here. The Staff was so accommodating and polite. The room was spacious, wheelchair friendly, clean and organized. Great views too!! I really had No Worries and Felt extremely rested, which is why I will return to this resort soon. Thank you to the Staff for all you guys help, Thank you for making my husband laugh and for making me feel like home... I will always appreciate you Raymond for your assistance and care. I recommend anyone to stay here. Forever grateful

Great place to relax and enjoy. Front desk staff was amazing and the rooms were exceptionally clean. Beds and linen were comfy and good shower pressure. I don’t usually review unless it’s a very impressive experience. Check them out and you won’t be disappointed. Would definitely return!

I chose this hotel while in Pompano Beach for a dive trip. The close proximity to the dive shop and the fact that the boat leaves from the hotel dock made selecting this hotel an easy decision. The hotel was advertised at a great rate But like most hotels these days after they tack on resort fees and mandatory daily valet parking fees. it is not as great of value as it initially seems. The resort be seems a bit much considering the tiny pool with no more than 10 loungers for which there was fierce competition. I had mixed experiences with the service The front desk/check in man was very welcoming and accommodating. my first night at the hotel I ate at the poolside restaurant. The service was slow and curt, not rude and not friendly I didn’t get everything that I ordered, though thankfully I was not charged for it either the food that I did get, however, was cooked well and tasted good. Although the hotel is aging the rooms have been kept up well and were very clean. All things considered I would stay here again the location, proximity to many restaurants, the beach, diving make this a good value. I do hope that the staff is a bit more friendly and welcoming the next time around.
