Sands Central Inn - Motel in Hot Springs - 1525 Central Ave, USA

Couldn't beat the price never seen so many cigarette Burns in my life LOL but I was looking for a dive and I found one so considering that's what I was looking for five stars

Honestly, a very nice and affordable motel. Called ahead 10 minutes and they had rooms available. First come first serve. Everything else was booked up in town (labor day weekend). Managed to get a double full size room. Didn't know people still had full size mattresses. Cute pool if you have kids that want to swim. Air conditioner was nice and cold! I found no critters after searching all the common areas. I would stay here again.

This is an older motel, but it is kept very clean. I have stayed here a lot over the years, and just really like the family that manages the place. They keep a close watch on who comes in and I believe that is what keeps the drug traffic and other trouble away. For the cleanliness, friendliness, and security you really just can't beat this place. My only complaint is that they don't have flat screen TVs, but if they did, then you would probably have to pay more and I can watch TV at home.

Very reasonable rates, clean rooms, safe area, and the best people around manage it. Both really keep an eye on the parking lot and that helps keep the trouble away. Good central location. They have a swimming pool, but I've never been in it. If you are staying in Hot Springs and can't afford the Marriott, well this is a fine place.

The service here was amazing. The lady at the front desk was so sweet. She helped with everything. She helped with places to eat to things to do. The rooms was clean and nice. It was very quiet and peaceful. The man at the counter helped me get to a barbecue place on the other side of town that place was amazing. I will come back to this place. Overall, this place was amazing.

Positives: The staff was very nice No signs of roaches or bed bugs Clean linens (you'd think that would be standard, but I've found a lot of budget hotels don't change the linens between guests) Room doors open directly outside, which is nice if you smoke Decently clean (more on that below) Negatives: Beds have only sheets and a thin comforter Pillows are very flat The toilet had not been cleaned under the seat, urine and pubic hair were present Over all, it's a good place to stay. The rooms may be a little dated and shabby, but everything worked as far as lighting and plumbing (we didn't use the tv, so I can't comment on that ). All surfaces were clean and free of dust. The tile had been swept and the carpet vacuumed. If you want modern furnishings, this place is not a good fit. If you want a place to sleep for the night while passing through or while spending your days exploring Hot Springs, I'd recommend staying here.

The hotel has a very old carpet smell badly

To start with we paid $80 for 1 room for a Friday night stay. When we get to our room there was a bad stale, musty odor. I was wondering why we passed so many rooms with doors opened when we arrived. Very cheap air-conditioning system.You could hear every sound from outside through the walls. Mattresses were old, cheap and ours was broken and wore out. Very cheap quality bedding on the beds and thin, cheap pillows. The bathroom was gross. Dirty and out of date, very small. Was afraid to take a shower in it. We were afraid to walk barefooted on the carpet, on the brightside we didn't see any bugs. I would only recommend this place of there were no where else to stay.
