Stayed over night, found it to be very comfortable. Room was clean, very quiet area, easy parking, front office was helpful. My only issue was hard to plug my phone to charge, electric outlets were hidden behind the bed or too far to have my phone on the nightstand next to the bed. Overall a nice experience, will be back!

Brilliant lodging hotel with ample parking. The room was large with everything you need to self cater and a big comfy bed. Highly recommended. The lodge is a bit out of downtown Santa Barbara so a car would be ideal however there is a local bus on the main road.

Positive: Plenty of room for family of 5, easy free parking on premises. The location is awesome, right on State St. Has pool, breakfast items. All good. Negative: The only knock is that the room and hotel is very dated and old. Furniture is old, just everything is old. But sheets are clean, towels are clean, shower is warm, beds are comfortable.

If you want to rest and are a light sleeper, simply avoid this place. I made an advance reservation through the Agoda app, I requested that the room be quiet, with a large bed and for smokers. When I arrived at the hotel, I discovered that smoking was not allowed in any area and it had been like that for many years so I considered that the website I booked was outdated and moved on. However, the first room they gave us was on the first floor, facing the elevator, next to the reception and exit, how could there be a quiet room? Even with advance booking, this was the “only” room available. After a lot of insistence from my boyfriend to the management, we managed to change from this first one to another one where the bed would be smaller but supposedly it would be quiet. Was NOT. They placed us next to the staff room, on the first morning we were woken up by conversations between the staff (including the manager) in front of our window, talking loudly and not caring about the guests. On our second night a big family with children and babies arrived and guess where we were? Right in the middle of them. They arrived, had a party, left the room doors open and it was already late at night when my boyfriend tried to ask very kindly for them to at least close the doors and they said “I'm not going, it's hot, it's a hotel”… exactly, this was supposed to be a hotel not your home. I don't even need to describe what our second and last morning was like, we simply didn't sleep. And yes, we only stayed two nights, in the two nights we were just trying to rest. Besides that, the acoustics in the rooms are terrible, you can hear everything the other room does. And the icing on the cake? The “breakfast” only offers “dumplings”.

This might be one of the worst services you can encounter in the United States. The front desk clerk didn't allow me to work in the lobby. I arrived at the hotel around 8 AM, but check-in wasn't until the afternoon. So I politely asked if I could sit in the lobby and work while waiting. To my surprise, the clerk said no, only hotel guests could use the lobby. After insisting, she finally allowed me to sit down, but it left me in a bad mood. The hotel has 13 seats in the lobby, yet they don't allow guests waiting to check in to sit there. Can you imagine that? Furthermore, the clerk was completely inflexible. Generally, hotels allow early check-in if there are available rooms, but this clerk insisted we wait until 3 PM.

Very good hotel. Nice clean rooms. Good value for the area. Easy check in with friendly staff. Very quiet area. Close to the airport and downtown Santa barbara. Close to restaurants and easy location to call ride services. Large elevator to second floor. Plenty of parking. Great place for families.

I have to review this to compliment the hotel staff. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and went out of their way to honor the rate that I paid for another member of my party who did not book using the same service I did. Sure, it's an affordable rate motel; the facilities won't wow you. But I was thoroughly impressed with the staff.

Positive: I'm going to have to dig deep to give you an example of something that I liked most about this hotel. The photographs were misleading the rooms were outdated and there was no tub. The location was desirable & convenient. I suppose that's what I liked most Negative: I'm usually not hard to please but there was virtually nothing I liked about this room. Primarily I suppose that the ad should have mentioned that the entire property was smoke-free at the indoor pool actually just had an outside wall. Negative: ""

The best F45 I've been to. Class was packed with almost 50 members. All the coaches, specifically Coach Katrina, found time to motivate and challenge me through one of the best workouts I've had in months.
