Sandpiper Beachfront Motel - Motel in Old Orchard Beach - 2 Cleaves St, USA

What an incredible place right on the beach! The women we checked in with when we arrived were incredibly nice. Water pressure in shower was good. The beds were comfy and the ac was awesome. Really my only complaint was the parking was a little tight. Other than that not a bad place. I would highly recommend the Sandpiper for a weekend stay.

My family of 4 just stayed at the Sandpiper for 4 nights. Overall it was a great experience. You are steps from the beach with gorgeous views the moment you step out of your room. Rooms were very clean and I always saw someone outside sweeping sand or wiping down chairs and tables. Very convenient to downtown OOB but far enough away to feel like you're on a private beach. Convenient to restaurants, shops etc. My only criticism is that the rooms are small and the bathroom is tiny! Perfect for two people but a little cramped for a family of 4.

What a fantastic place. Customer service was fabulous. The Location was perfect, directly on the beach. Walking distance to everything. The view from our patio chairs was awesome. Our room was perfect. It’s no wonder people return here time and time again!

Super bien situé. Accès direct à la mer, tout près du Pier (10 minutes de marche),|Très propre et personnel super sympathique. Les chambres du motel sont modestes mais confortables. Tout y est pour un séjour autonome: cuisinère, frigo, ustensils, cafetière, grille-pain... Pour le prix, c'est vraiment excellent. Nous reviendrons!

I did reserve a room understanding that it slept 3. I called last night to move the date due to a death in my family and was told that the room only slept 2, no room for s single air mattress. I don’t understand how that works. The gentleman stated firmly that I was not getting my deposit back. How do I tell a member of my family they cannot come? I had to cancel Without getting my deposit back? I am very disappointed. I thought this was a family friendly place. I was emotional on the phone due to many personal reasons. I did not get a phone call back. It’s disturbing knowing that they are going to sell my room this coming week with no problem and still keep my deposit.

I called last night to move my reservations by one day due to a death in my family. Back in April I was told that the room I reserved did sleep 3. Last night, I was told it only slept 2. How do I tell a member of my family they cannot come? I had to cancel the reservation. They do not want to give me my deposit back of over $280. I thought this was a family friendly place. Knowing they are going to sell that room this week during my vacation that I had to cancel and keeping my money I am disgusted in the sandpiper.

There is a rug over the floor, the whole floor. Room are enough for 2 person, maximum. All the necessities are there. But the sink is outside the bathroom. The toilet is an older realy small model. The shower head shoot only in mist and water temperature is similar to russian roulette. The staff is kind and there for you. Location, location location, on the beach with a private access. Parking right in front of the room. Walk 5 mins to any attraction, convenience store on the corner of the street. Good for a couple, bad for families, unless you rent 2 rooms...
