We stayed there for three days from the start not the best experience. Our room was filthy, mildew all over the bathroom, floors were full of sand and to top it off the Bedsheets were full of hair and blood stains. The rooms smelled muggy and like mildew. We went to the office to talk to the receptionist, Hispanic man, He was very rude…. Not professional at all. Talked to manager which offered to refund a day but haven’t seen that yet. They gave us another room and told us to move ourself. Room was a little better.. We ended up cleaning the room ourselves before being able to stay there, changing out all the bedsheets and buying our own blankets to be able to stay. The view of the room was nice facing the beach. That was the only good experience. The one Hispanic lady that cleans the rooms was very sweet and was doing her best. I don’t recommend this place only because they need to get it cleaned up and they gotta get better staff for that front office. Don’t let the pictures they post mislead you. Make sure to check the room and beds before staying there. Trying to post pictures.

Wonderful vacation spot! Right on the gulf with beautiful sunset views! Would highly recommend and we will be returning. Older condo which gives it charm unlike the cookie cutter chain hotels. The pool area was perfect, ample seating, clean, toys for the pool and towels available if you don’t have your own. The open air but covered space overlooking the gulf was full of comfortable furnishings and a great place to relax and read or just watch the waves! We had a gulf side suite and it was better than expected! Balcony was large with two chairs, side table snd and a lounge chair and still there was space. The living area was large with a nice kitchenette and table and chairs. The bedroom came with the unexpected surprise of a king sized bed instead of the advertised queen sized. Bathroom was older but clean with ample counter area. The staff were all exceptional friendly, informative and very helpful! From an accessible standpoint there was handicapped parking, an elevator and staff that were willing to lend a hand. Donald in maintenance was always there to lend an arm on the four steps to the beach or offer to open gates and carrying bags. Very much appreciated.

If you’re honest with what you are paying for this hotel will be exactly what you’d expect. There is very limited parking in the front, the staff is just meh, the rooms don’t have the best cleaning (super sandy floors, yes it’s beach front, but it felt like they didn’t even try), the vents are very dirty, and the room was a little dated. But it’s a bargain place at a TOP location so it was worth it for us.

Deplorable conditions! They are hoping that you will be a passive person who is just grateful to be at the beach and you will overlook the disgusting broken down property. I’m a local who lives within walking distance and my friends stayed here when coming to visit me. I was so embarrassed that this place is a part of my community. You wouldn’t know from the ad or from outside but this place is a complete dump. The staff obviously knows this but once they trick you into committing online they have the audacity to not allow any refunds once you get there and realize it’s a complete disaster. My heart breaks for families who get tricked into coming to this place. If I had driven or flown from states away and showed up here with my children I would have cried as soon as I walked in. Mold, musty, nothing is clean. But when you offer no refunds and everyone books online, it’s easy to scam people. And that’s exactly what this is A SCAM. Shame on the owners of this establishment for not doing the right thing and maintaining this property. Shame on the owners for causing my beloved community to be scared with this atrocity.

We spent my husband's birthday weekend here and he LOVED it! The hotel is a tad bit dated but there are so many updates which makes up for its age plus it was very clean and bed bug free!! :) Can't beat the location, DIRECTLY on the beach!! For what we paid we will definitely be returning again and again. Queen suite "sea view" was like a mini 1 bedroom apartment with sleeper sofa. Ours was 2nd floor with a nice balcony to enjoy the gulf breezes. No frills, simple and AC was on the money!! Pool clean, a furnished public lanai, as well as our always smiling, friendly front desk host!! *Avoid Coconut Charlie's. That was a NO go for us. 15 minutes there and we were never acknowledged. *YES to the jet ski rental place, Wet Rental Tours! *Frog Pond for breakfast is within walking distance. *Conch Republic was amazingly delicious!! * John's Pass is always great *Publix is just over the causeway too!

There are two reasons this place gets one star instead of 0. 1) the bed was comfortable, the linens very clean and I didn’t see any bugs. I’m writing this review from said bed. 2) from the furthest room in the “resort” (this is a motel, let’s be honest) you are two flights of stairs and 20 ft from stepping onto the beach. Prime location. But….theres always a but…that’s where anything positive about this place stops. I don’t even know how to write the rest of this. The night Audit was very nice when we checked in a 9p. Gave us our keys. That’s it. Parking is atrocious. There’s maybe 20 spots out front. Then you’re crossing a 4 lane road to park in the barely lit “overflow” parking behind the store across the street. We got into our room and unlocked the door. (With keys, no cards here. You get two keys per set. One for the front door of the hotel, that doesn’t lock so it’s pointless, the other for your room. You can’t lock the door with the key. Only unlock. Because it’s using cheap push button style door locks. The room. It was “clean”. There is sand everywhere, but it’s beachside, I kind of expected that. The floors are. Special. Whoever did them in our room didn’t really understand how you’re supposed to stagger the vinyl planks so they look good. The quarter round and every transition in the room was liquid nailed down. Horrible. There’s so many gaps to the subfloor at every corner, and doorway. The place feels like it hasn’t been renovated since it was built in the 60s and cleaned since the 90s. They don’t do refunds. And it’s right on the beach so we are grinning and bearing it. But my lord. We will never be staying here again. If this hadn’t been an impromptu getaway and the location of this place wasn’t so perfect Id have charge backed and gone home the night we checked in. Lucky for the motel though, the wife loves the location and we plan on spending most of our time not in the room. But man. A previous reviewer said (paraphrasing) “You walk in and feel dirty”. He’s absolutely right. If I’d have walked past a lady of the night, or a gentleman of the night offering chemical enhancements, I’d have not been surprise. In fact. I’m kind of surprised this hasn’t happened in the two nights we’ve been here, but they’ve still got two days to go…. Don’t stay here. Seriously. It’s not “quaint” or “dated”. It was probably nice at one point. But no one has cared about making this place anything but 1 step above livable for a very long time. I would t be surprised if they took bids for contractors to renovate. Looked at the lowest offer, and then found a couple homeless guys and offered them half that to renovate the place.

Good location. Great beach. Rooms were okay. Ice cold 😃 Only complaint was it was loud. People blaring music late at night. The kids above me had a party which really didn’t bother me but possibly would for people with children. Went on until 3 am. Slamming of doors constantly by guests and house keeping. It woke me up each morning. TV in living room didn’t work. Small fridge and microwave in the room. No plates or utensils in the room but can get at front desk. Coffee in room.

Great beach hotel in a desirable location. A little older than some surrounding properties but seemed well kept and our room was clean. Comfortable beds and pillows are a huge plus. Only reason for 4 stars is because they only have limited parking in front of the hotel which is always full so we were forced to park across the street behind a business which was not a huge deal breaker just a minor inconvenience but may be a problem for people who may have a harder time walking.
