Sand Pebble Motor Lodge - Indoor lodging in Point Pleasant Beach - 905 Ocean Ave N, USA

I stayed at this cute little motel and just a few blocks away from the boardwalk and right across from the beach. It didn’t have a view to the beach but just a hop, skip and a jump and you are at the beach. It’s convenient because you can park and save on the very expensive public and private parking. It’s clean and the reception people were pleasant. There is a snack bar in the pool area which was also convenient to get your morning coffee. It’s not fancy but the furniture and bathroom facilities were neat and tidy. I stayed at a motel a few weeks earlier and it was a horror story. This is definitely a step up by orders of magnitude. I would stay here again when I want to do an overnight stay to enjoy the beach and boardwalk.

If there was an option for rating this place 10 STARS I would! We went down on Aug 8 for a night expecting the worst with the incoming hurricane. Well it missed us and my family and I had an amazing time. Both Chris, and the owner Anthony, who both worked in the office were super friendly, helpful, and over accommodating. After checking out, a few hours later we decided to stay another night and without question, I called Anthony back and requested another night. Two nights in two different rooms obviously, and both rooms were SPOTLESS. All appliances and AC worked great. The motel is well decorated in and out. And the pool was crystal clean. HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone visiting the Point Pleasant Beach area. 5 min walking distance to the main boardwalk area and beach. We don’t have to use the car or public transportation once. Can’t wait to come back next year!! Thanks again guys!!

Nice place with Clean facility. Nice looking pool. Bathrooms clean with the usual shampoo, conditioner, soap. Though I would recommend bringing your own cause the soap breaks up easily but that's my opinion. Rooms were nice size didn't feel claustrophobic. Pull out couches were decent. Plenty of parking for all size vehicles mostly I mean i had a double cab truck so i say fits most. Friendly staff in office and helpful. Only down fall is the bathroom door opens towards the main door so be careful when entering if someone left the bathroom door open.

Think before booking. We were in room 16 and it was very loud. Walls are paper thin and we could hear the washing machine running constantly. We also did not have cleaning service, and when I asked that evening, I was told to “speak with the owner.” We had no fresh towels, and when I asked for those, the desk told me I’d have to wait, as he was the only one working that afternoon. Room was furnished nicely, but it was just way too loud and not at all “friendly.” You can do better for that distance from beach/boardwalk.

Just came back from this lodge and let me tell you we are already planning our vacation for next year there! The place was clean and friendly. The pool is such a good size and has the cutest little grill which is run by the sweetest woman! It’s also like a 3 second walk to the boardwalk! I’m so glad we chose this place and can’t wait till we return

Walking distance to boardwalk rides food etc. Clean rooms, staff is super nice. Been going for years and will continue into the future. See you next year thanks for the stay....

Sparkling clean room, excellent location to beach and boardwalk, beautiful pool and a great little poolside grill for breakfast and lunch! Great place to decompress and enjoy Point Pleasant.
