Great place. Each condo is unique and you tend to find the one you like as you try different places. We are quite partial to 106 and 119. Both have great views and easy access to the beach. It's a home away from home for our family and we've been going there for years

5 Stars....This place was absolutely beautiful & tranquil the unit very clean, beautifully decorated and furnished, very well maintained . The grounds were also well maintained and the staff was helpful apon check in. The beach was amazing white sand blue gulf water and dolphins swimming in background. We will definitely be back!!

We come here year after year and love it! Beach is nice, community is clean and quiet and close to most great restaurants and activities. Highly recommend!

We rented 5 condos over Mother's Day weekend. The stay was wonderful because of time spent with family, beautiful water, and great location to the beach. But the staff was NOT the least bit accommodating with the check-in process and it started our weekend off on a really sour note for all. If you arrive early DO NOT expect to access your room before 3:00 pm - even if it's been sitting empty for the previous 2-3 nights. We've stayed at a lot of places on LBK over the years & will go back to them in the future as a result of Sugar Cay's ridiculous check-in policy/procedure. Unit 303 bedroom carpet is old & disgusting. Ants everywhere in the kitchen, but fully loaded for all your cooking needs. Great balcony view of water, but dirty/sandy floor that was overlooked for cleaning. Old & worn LR furniture, high chair had food (or worse) still crusted on it. Definitely not updated in a while. Charcoal grills - really should be updated to gas. They charge you a $165 cleaning fee, but instruct you to remove sheets, pile towels up, sweep floor, run dishwasher etc.

Sand Cay is paradise, and our home away from home. We no longer have any desire to go anywhere else, and we have traveled to many destinations over many years. I would give 10 stars if I could. Just amazing.

Beautiful beachfront rentals, exceptionally clean. The pool was a bit warm for our taste, but their were lots of families with young children, so the atmosphere was famial. The property is walking distance from a few stores and restaurants, about a mile. The rooms were clean, wifi good, and the beach crystal clear.

Unit 118 - pictures online are very deceiving of the inside of unit! We’ve been vacationing in LBK for 20 years and have stayed at Sand Cay many times - this was by far the worst! On our checkin day - We arrived after hours - had 6 Adults which the unit accommodated and we new two of our group would be on a sleeper sofa - pulled the bed out - not only was it filthy with trash and crumbs of food but was also broken where the mattress would not stay up. We were able to make do for the night. Also on arrival the toilets seemed clogged and would hardly flush and water was high in the toilet. We were very afraid to flush because of overflow. Went to office next morning and they were very helpful and sent maintenance however he would not be able to do anything until Monday. Monday came and determined the bed couldn’t be fixed so solution was an air mattress for the week and toilets were adjusted but he indicated needed replacing. On Tuesday while making breakfast - two outlets started smoking as we were making coffee. Went back to office and maintenance came again and worked on those. All in all the management group were very kind but this is out of their control. The owners need to update this unit. Do not be sold on the photos. The office indicated the owners had replaced a few things in the unit - one being the adjacent living room furniture (which I could not tell it was new) and the vanity’s in the bathrooms. However, he bathrooms are tiny and still outdated. The bedroom furniture was chipped and scratched with drawers not able to slide in and all of the bedding was very old and musty smelling and TVs in the two bedrooms were maybe a 15”. Great location but not worth the price they are charging. For the price stay at the Zota Resort next door!

First stay here and it will be a regular vacation spot for us. Staff was friendly and helpful, accommodations were comfortable, view was amazing, and beach area was beautiful! A must stay!
