San Sushi - Sushi restaurant in Placentia - 161 W Santa Fe Ave, USA

Food is great just wish they would get my order right. There was just one waiter so I don't know if this was the reason. There was 2 other tables besides ours. Not letting this bad experience stop us from going since we really love their food.

Just dropped in about an hour before it closed. It was a cozy spot tucked away. The presentation of all of the food was so beautiful. It kind of made me feel i was taking bites of art. Everything was so tasty. The edamame didn't have as much flavor on it's own. It has a nice relaxing vibe to this place. If I'm ever in the neighborhood again i would come back.

Small spot, but great find! Staff is really nice and helpful. Food was tasty! Food items ordered: Santa Fe Roll Snow Shrimp roll Teriyaki plate Sesame chicken (favorite) Chicken fried rice All of it was delicious. Outdoor seating really made this spot a wonderful option since covid-19 is still on the loose.

Food here sucks guys. 4.5 stars? Must be struggling students from CSU Fullerton. If you got money tho, goto a better place. Friendly service but bad food. Goto Orange Sushi is Orange or Honda Ya in Tustin or Sushi Sake off Rose in Placentia. Warning the last place is super expensive.

First time here but loved it. Went for happy hour. Wish they had more of selection but the food was great! I got the shrimp crunchy roll, shrimp tempura and dumplings. Everything was great! They should sell the shrimp tempura as an order not $1.50 per piece. The only thing that wasn't pleasant was (I'm not a sushi expert so IDK if that's the way sushi is made) the sushi I ordered (shrimp crunchy roll)b was way too wide? It literally didn't fit in our mouths (compared to other places I've gotten this roll before) but still didn't matter because the flavor was delicious. But beware of your on a date, with others dining etc. Will come again to try out other items on their menu! Thanks for the complimentary edamame!

We were looking for a sushi restaurant that was actually open for lunch on a Sunday (not many are) and found San. It was a nice spot for a relatively inexpensive but nice quality “American” sushi meal. Most of the rolls were california style, placing heavy emphasis on imitation crab. But 5 of us eating for $130 at a sushi restaurant is great! At a place like Roku or Nobu it easily would have been $400-500 for all of us. There was a focus on rolls, ramen, and appetizers instead of nigiri, but it didn’t turn out to be a bad thing. The spicy tuna crispy rice was the standout of the meal and the garlic edamame was nice and fresh. The rest of our rolls were all good but the tonkatsu ramen was lackluster. Stick to the sushi here, go to a ramen place if you want a good bowl of ramen.

Ramen and sushi were alright. Cut out on lunch early because of an unwanted pest scurrying around our table space. Staff member noticed it and took care of it. Sushi wise, stuff I ordered was okay, little over stuffed with the imitation crab filling. I wish the sauce they on their plates wasn't so thick.

Excellent service waitress super friendly ready to help and do outstanding. Positive energetic people really nice spot Cold weather but they have heaters easy to find a solution , Happy hour was great real Japanese food I'm so happy to share my experience continue like this please
