Amazing pebble Beach. Leash free dog friendly for the most part. Some sand spots. Predominantly a surfing beach. The waves are pretty rough for wading.
Camping spots are next to the highway, but the beach itself is fabulously secluded! Bring a wagon to haul your day beach gear down, as it's a very nice .25 mile walk down to the beach, traversing the bluffs. Be cautious of snakes in the area. Best surfing around the area and great place to post up for the day and hang out. Can be super busy and there is often quite a line to get in. They operate on a 'one vehicle out and one vehicle in' basis. Once in you'll fimd a great spot right by the beach

Beautiful location. The bluffs add fantastic backdrop for surfers, and beach goers. The short easy hikes between the parking lots and beaches are filled with a variety of fauna. The is perfect for wildflower seekers of any age.
Trail#6 is my favorite,less crowded ,many parking spaces and beautiful scenery
We stayed 2 nights on the Bluff campground, it's a hike down to the beach and it's beautiful. The beach itself is very rocky, you have to sit by the cliff to enjoy the beach, I recommend wearing sandals if you want to walk to the water because of the many rocks to it.
