such a beautiful park! lots of people having picnics and bringing their dogs. must go on the walking trail and enjoy the views of the fountain! this is definitely one of the best parks in Tallahassee if not the best!
Gorgeous spot to walk. Loads of wildlife. Hawks, owls, beavers, stork, turtles, ibis, egret, heron, bats, and tons of different spiders. Highly recommended.
It’s a decent park. One of the few that’s closest to university students in Tallahassee. Not much to offer for dogs—but since it’s always populated, it’s still a place worthy of bringing your pup.
Nice little park in the San Luis neighborhood of Tally. Lots of trails (boardwalk, paved, and natural), a large dog park, and a wheelchair accessible playground, all around a small lake. Great place to get your steps in and/or walk your dog!
Another 10/10 park. Lots of walking trails both in the woods and around it. This park was a bit busier but we can see why. There is quite a bit to see and do here from the dog park to feeding the massive amount of turtles.
My friend had her son's birthday party here. It was 96° outside and it was the perfect park for this heat. The big trees provided great shade and the pavilion area was very well kept. I walked around to take in the sights and I loved it out here. Very nice park to relax in, hike, or have a party. I plan to go back and bike/hike the nature trails.
One of my favorite parks in tallahassee. Large dog park with ample throwing room for catch, lake with fountain and raised wood walking platform with benches, playground for kids and long trails to hike.
This is a nice park you can picnic, BBQ, walk the many awesome trails or bring the dog to the dog area or just sit and enjoy the day bring lunch or a good book or bring the kids to the play ground. A beautiful pon full fish, turtles and birds. A family park
