Came here with a friend while we waited for her daughter to finish her doctor's appointment. I was very comfortable and it is a great place to read, relax and be surrounded by some of my favorite things, BOOKS!
Thankful for a warm, cozy place to read in the evenings. It's well organized, bright and clean. The historical library on the second floor is fun to check out if you can catch them during open hours. They have an original leather-bound set of the complete works of Luther Burbank! They could increase their classics offerings, but I understand that a local library reflects local demand. I wish they had longer hours on the weekends.
Beautiful library. Quiet and large. Wonderful children's section with its own librarian, games, books and more. Friendly staff. There are also weekly story times that are free to kids and families.
One of the best public libraries in the SF Bay Area. Clean, modern, easy to use with plenty of tables for studying. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Excellent children’s library within the library itself featuring extensive book collection in multiple languages and computer stations for online learning. Wide ranging DVD collection. Fabulous, though infrequently, open history room for researching San Leandro and Alameda County. Veterans resource center, computer room, cafe and book sale room all on site. Meeting rooms available for rental to the public and community groups.
My cat loves this place even though he is hiding inside a carrier... Too hot to stay in the car. One of the best libraries around:) Extremely organized and people are mostly polite. About 90F outside, nice and cool inside. Definetely worth visiting!
Myself in another person went in the library today to obtain a temporary library card because when called and explained to them that we were homeless without an address or no ID was told that we could get a 3-month temporary identification to give us time to get proof of address and ID first person had physical ID no proof of address because again homeless sleeping intense I went shortly after only ID was on my phone because everything else had burned in fire and was told that I could not get one because I didn't have proof of residency I said well the guy ahead of me didn't have that either we're in the same predicament and the story was then changed to I had to have some type of picture ID I said I do have one on my phone it's just expired then it was changed too it has to be and not expired one I said well that's not really fair is it because if you're telling us one thing over the phone and we come in and one person was giving it with no problem the only difference is he has his physical ID I don't understand can you explain that to me the Lady Lauren basically told me I can't help you I said what's your policy on people who are homeless you turn their nose up at me and said she could not help me
Would've given 5 stars but just the fact that you have to pay a monthly fee to use some of the resources provided that would normally be free of charge. But thats only if you don't reside or work in San Leandro. Other than that it is a nice and clean library and I do enjoy the space when I visit. And the location is great as it definitely serves the community well. So it's always busy busy
One of my favorite East Bay libraries for getting some work done away from home. It’s clean and well managed. They have work tables with charging lamps that are usually available. They also have a cool housewares and tool lending collection.

The beginner session was really fun! Our instructor Arzu did an awesome job teaching us. She held a few mini competition sessions for us towards the end which was super enjoyable and really spiced things up!
Loving my best life here, even if I'm in my 40's!! Walked in to a clean salon. Nice sitting area and the gal on staff was super sweet. I was walked through all of the options and packages, but I already knew I wanted the diamond membership, I want th
Been coming here for quite some time. Nice selection and great customer service. My favorite is the dog grooming area. It's always well kept & super clean. You'll know I'm there cause my dog sings the whole time and makes it a show for everyone lol
I've been a regular visitor for years, seeking a quick recharge in nature close to home. The convenient location, beautiful views just minutes away, and various paths make it an ideal spot for exploration. ð³ all the trails are simple and the breat
The food was very good and fresh. My favorite was the Poke bowl, it was my first time trying it and I donât eat raw fish so the Poke bowl was made with cooked shrimp and a lot of other items. The flavor was just right, not bland not salty. I would
Great place to walk your dogs. I would recommend on leash though, they have a lot of small Chipmunks/squirrels running around and if your dog is anything like mine she will go crazy over them and try to chase them down. The marina is a nice place to
Hidden gem! Seems to be located in the middle of nowhere. Stepping out of your car gives you this wonderful aroma of chocolate. There is a store at the front and a restaurant at the back. Would have been cool if they offered chocolate flops or a tour
Staff was very friendly my first time there and the food was great right down the street from another Mexican restaurant the completely ignored me and only acknowledged me to stop me from asking a question
