Samurai Kitchen + Sushi - Japanese restaurant in Erie - 2767 W 12th St, USA

It was my first time dining in there and I had a wonderful beautiful time. The atmosphere was good. The staff was Very welcoming and it was nice because I was a little nervous. I would highly recommend you go there the awards they have for their food. It's top notch.

The food was really good. Really fresh sushi. The service was good. The atmosphere was extremely loud when we were there cause it looked like a girls' night out, and it was more than 10 girls in a table talking abnosiously loud. Nobody could have a conversation across the table because these people were really loud talking and laughing. I wish they could have asked nicely to tone it down to make the other customers happy, but I guess not. Anyways I'm not sure it is like that all the time. The place was nice and cozy and clean. The service was good and the food was great.

This place is fantastic. My husband is upset we only went once this summer since we moved to Pittsburgh. He's a big sushi fan and I'm not, but I did try the white fish on his plate. It wasn't too bad for a person who can't stand raw fish. It's still not for me, but my husband loved every bite. He had gotten the deluxe and added on some rolls, and I had gotten the sweet potato rolls with hibachi dinner. We sat in front of the cooler with fish, and we were able to watch them work. That didn't distract us from our conversations, though, which was nice. Out waitress kept our drinks coming when empty, and she was so nice and pleasant. I can not wait for our next erie trip to go up there again to eat.

My husband and I made a reservation for a Friday night. We were seated on the patio - thankfully, because it was rather loud inside since it's so small. I ordered the yaki udon seafood, and he ordered the Sumo hibachi plate. We also got a shrimp tempura roll. Everything was delicious! This was our second time at Samurai Kitchen and we will definitely be back.

Really neat but somewhat small location offering sushi along with other east Asian offerings. Sushi bar is very nice, and the staff are extremely friendly. Great place to hang out if you want to casually chat with sushi chefs. Sushi is very good. Prices can fluctuate at times and are somewhat high for the specialty rolls, but you won't get much better sushi in the area. Has some desert options that are interesting, and often gets special items that are difficult to find in this region. Interior is small but functional. I would suggest reservations if you want to go during peak times. Parking can also be a challenge with a relatively small corner lot.

Our favorite place to come get sushi in Erie. Consistently good with great service! We will be back again for sure!

This was my first time eating sushi, and it was an amazing experience. I would love to go back! Highly recommend the Erie Sunset roll. Also, the Vietnamese Pho was delicious, and my husband loved his Chicken & Shrimp Hibachi. The service was excellent.

Best sushi in erie! Taste so fresh and great options. The basic avocado roll is my go to and always good. It is not a cheap date, but totally worth it if you are looking for some high quality sushi.
