The private bathroom alone is gorgeous and delightful, not to mention the most comfortable king sized mattress I’ve ever slept on! The Cozy is an especially thoughtful place to treat yourself to the home baked goods from talented hosts. We were there for a reception after a funeral. The owner was unbelievably friendly and very helpful. The food was delicious and she made the day perfect. I would recommend using this beautiful home for many different kinds of events. Check it out.
More than an airbnb, the Samuel Dearing House is a "home away from home." The proprietors are welcoming and hospitable. They have added so many personal touches to bless their guests. The house is beautiful but the people are even more beautiful. I highly recommend this not just as a place to stay but a place to feel comfortable, appreciated, and "at home."
The Samuel Dearing House is a luxury stay at an affordable price unlike any you’ve likely experienced. The Victorian mansion has been preserved and updated for a taste of the turn of the century. The host & hostess are A+ and you will notice many touches that are uncommon in typical Airbnb stays. Love this place and will definitely be back again any time I travel to the Twin Cities!
If you want to experience the most lovely hospitality this is the place for you. I have stayed in the Charlotte room on a few occasions with a magnificent view of the St. Paul skyline. Beautiful antiques throughout the house to make you feel right at home. The best pastry items and great coffee to start the morning off well. And a delicious ice cream sunday bar to end the night.
Wow! What a weekend. Kathy and Randy are terrific, gracious hosts. I still can't get over how much they made me feel at home. This old house is beautiful in every way, there's a lot to do in the area and lots of great places to eat. I can hardly wait until our next visit to the Dearing Mansion.
Great place for a family reunion. This house has every amenity you need to enjoy yiur stay. Scott has done an exceptional job restoring this historical mansion. We had some special needs and Scott understood and accommodated our requests. Beautiful view of Saint Paul and only 15 minutes from the airport.
