Our company has used Samsara for many years. We moved from 17 devices down to 13 devices. About a week before renewal time frame came up, we got told we were auto-renewing 17 devices. I reached out and requested to only renew 13 and they hit us with the "you didn't notify us within 30 day window". After 3 separate phone calls with them (to include being told that only 1 person was working at 1pm and I couldn't be transferred to anyone else), they actually agreed to renew only the 13 devices for us (this was 3 days before the renewal date). I figured everything was good to go on the 13 renewals, but the next business day they reached out (this time via their help desk) to inform me that they would be renewing at 17 devices. I called them within 5 minutes of receiving this email and was told I'd have to do a refund now. I went through and explained how they agreed to the 13 renewals and they didn't care. I don't find the business practices of agreeing to terms with a customer and then changing them after the fact to be good business. If anyone from Samsara is actually reading this, I still have 3 open support tickets and would like a response. Thanks,

This is a terribly dishonest company. They don’t honor cancellation provisions in their own contract… utilizing unfair and deceptive trade practices at every stage in operations.

I have used this company for 3 years and have been double billed for the tune of over $10,000. Multiple invoices that are the same and billed over and over. I can not remove our company credit card and no one can help. Do not use this company. some many other companies out there.

Long story short about the referral i gave to my friend. I have been using samsara for my trucking fleet for couple years now. I also have a friend who has a small fleet of trucks and couldn’t express my feelings to him about how much more convenient it is to have tracking on the trucks and also refrigerated trailers and always was trying to convince him that it is worth every penny to have this ability to see where the truck is and also have 24/7 dash cam access etc. So finally he decided to join, and i told him to mention my company name so that we both can get a referral bonus. I was with him on the line with the samsara rep when he placed his order for 12 gps cameras ,Later on , that day i put the inquiry for referral on the dashboard of their website. Long story short, i never got my referral bonus. When contacted the customer support they said that i submitted the inquiry after he( my friend) placed the order so it doesn’t qualify. So , if someone competent wants to keep me as a customer , if you’re reading this, i would like to get referral bonus as promised by you, otherwise i am out , and will be looking for another company who provides gps/dashcam/tracking for fleets.

Incessant Sales team, who will not leave your team alone. After being told no, many times by reception (For years) and main office lines, continued to manage to track down Managements cell phone numbers and begin to bother them. This company just seems like one that will latch onto whatever acceptance they can get from anyone in the company, and would attempt to hold them to it contractually. Based on the reviews available, it seems that is exactly what would happen. I suggest finding any other asset tracking service available.

We have been using Samsara for about 6 years to track our aggregate hauling fleet with great success. There have been constant improvements to the capabilities on the dashboard and in-app experience. We utilize the forward facing dash-cams, live truck tracking, HOS, safety features, as well as the site camera solution. Our entire fleet has developed safer driving habits from the feedback we receive on the safety dashboard. We have had good customer service relations and product warranties are solid. We are hard pressed to find any system that is more robust than Samsara, we have had little to no downtime even in a dusty and hot environment.

Paid a lot of money for 3 unpowered units and 3 years of service up front. All units failed, my equipment was stolen, and they refuse to help or reimburse. DO NOT waste your money on this garbage. After many back and fourth emails, they will just close the case on you without resolution. this is one of the big corporation that does not care about the little guys.

I would provide negative stars if possible. We signed up for our fleet with lots of hope to find this was a scam. We cancelled months ago and continue to be charged without using or even having access to use it. This should be avoided at all costs.
