Food was fast and fresh. Ordered Catfish and was not disappointed. Crispy hot and not fishy. Fries are awesome. Okra and mushrooms were another hit. Will definitely be making this our new go to for lunch.

For the price, the portions are pretty big. The food was good, shrimp was perfectly battered and cooked, crab cakes were decent. Red beans and rice was really good too.

The first time eating here and it was all very, very good! The place was hopping at noon on a Friday. We had to wait a bit for the food but it was worth it. And, found out you can choose grilled or breaded meats. The grilled fish was done perfectly! Shrimp and crab cakes and bush puppies were great, too. There was so much food, my husband and I took home enough for a second meal! Made the pricing seem reasonable to get two meals apiece. Next time we go we can order one combo and extra sides so we MIGHT not have leftovers! Great staff members, too. Head on over for seafood in the middle of Kansas!

This place has the best food you will find in Hutchinson Kansas. Every time I've frequented Sam's Eatery I've been surprised at the quality here. Every bite makes you want to close your eyes and appreciate it. 11/10!

The food was what I would expect to see if there was a textbook example of a chicken po' boy and breaded fish/shrimp. Very plain decor and atmosphere. I have zero criticism about the food or service. Friendly staff and quick service is always appreciated.

We were there Saturday afternoon, September 2nd. Extremely busy with a very large family group. A extremely polite, professional employe took our order, and we went and sat down to dine in. Watching the staff dealing with the very large group....we were impressed at how efficient, organized, polite staff was in serving this large group. When our order was brought to our table, unfortunately there was a mistake on one of our orders. The staff promptly corrected the order with sincere apologies. As we sat eating and enjoying our delicious meals, the large group left. Staff immediately cleaned and arranged tables back to proper space. Extremely impressed with the cleanliness of restaurant, along with all the polite, professional, friendly staff....and most definitely the wonderful food. Wonderful, and much appreciated.

To much salt, can't enjoy food. Employee refused to make an item on the menu because HE didn't like it, and told us he won't make it. The food was extremely over priced for the fact that it seemed more like a fast food atmosphere. Only thing good was the crab cakes, otherwise I'd give this location zero stars.

I ordered food to go, I ordered the 3 shrimp/3 Chicken strips meal with fries and green beans, I also ordered 3 crab cakes and red beans for my husband. The shrimp was delicious, nice and meaty, perfectly seasoned and battered shrimp! The fries and green beans were great as well! The crab cakes were a bust, however, crispy shell on the outside, mushy crab flavored meat on the inside, no texture, no chunks of crab, I am guessing the meat was imitation crab meat? My husband ate only one of the 3 ordered. He thought the red beans and rice was delicious, I'm glad I ordered the larger side of this.
