Beautiful path! Bridges that walk over the river. Boyd Island is awesome. Beautiful scenery, safe walkways, lots of shade. So nice to walk by the rivers & see all the wildlife.
Had a wonderful, peaceful walk New years Eve here. 😌 very beautiful if you ignore the huge powerlines, lol. Regardless, it's a wonderful walk and beautiful river. I saw they had a place for people to go tubing, way too cold for that in the beginning of January though. What caught my attention the most was all the old bridges and history involved with this area and if you keep following the path you end up on a little bridge leading you to Boyd Island near the bridge. It's the only way to get there...trust me I tried lol. Lots of parking near the bathrooms. You walk right behind the zoo which is pretty cool. you can't see anything but you can hear. All in all a wonderful spot we found on accident.
This is a great place for walking or biking. It is very shady and easy to walk. The whole thing is over 7 miles long. If you go to the right from the parking lot, the river is calmer and there are not many rocks to climb on. But heading toward Boyd Island there are several areas where you can get out on the water. It is paved fron one end to the other and it is usually pretty busy.
I love walking my dogs to Boyd Island. The Pavillion is new since my last trip to SC, so is the bobcat. Beautiful walk.
Hey ya’ll, I know it’s been a min. Since moving I have been getting acclimated to my surroundings. Found this beautiful/serene place yesterday. Got to get in the River and hang out on these hives rocks. There is tubing and kayaking, paddle boarding and boating. Tons of families and pets. It was a wonderful place to just sit and be! I highly recommend checking this place out!!!!!!!!!!!
Had a nice walk this afternoon at the Saluda Riverwalk. We went out to the Sanctuary at Boyd Island for the first time. Nice area with several places to rest and snack.
With three rivers passing through Columbia, we have fantastic river walks. These days, the Saluda Riverwalk is our favorite. If you go left, you will have a long and beautiful boardwalk that goes over the ramp where you can launch your inflatable raft. On a hot day, the river can be full of these (see a photo). About 30 minutes of walk, much of it behind the zoo, takes you to a beautiful rocky area where Saluda and Congaree rivers meet,
Peace, Calm, and Beauty!
Well maintained walking trails, bridge, and sitting areas. I enjoy early mornings close to the water, and this hit that sweet spot.
The park rangers are on the job. The trail is handicap accessible and right on the river.
If you love outdoors and nice scenic areas, be sure to stop by for a stroll.
Just an awesome little island just out from the Lake Murray Dam. Plenty of areas for fishing, camping, and exploring. You can catch beautiful views of the sunset and sunrise from the shores. You can also visit a cemetery on the island that dates back
I felt so important! It was so quiet with no players out there everyone leaving because school had ended and it was so peaceful and I just stood there and took it all in .! it was so overwhelming I wanted to just cry at how amazingly beautiful it was
We have always started from the other end of this trail and it is nice there too, but this is my favorite section. I love that you can walk by the river through the woods or along the canal.
First time visiting this park and it's so adorable! Nicely landscaped and maintained well and very clean. Only downside is that there are no restroom facilities onsite, so come prepared for that. Otherwise my daughters loved playing here. My littlest
This park is awesome. We are on our second annual pass. It has a lot of flat paths for walking running or biking . It has a dog park, or you can just walk your dog on a leash. The paths are set through the bush with views of brooks, and a river that

Everybody is superfriendly and welcoming. I can't recommend it enough.
I have loved every minute of Basecamp since I joined this fall! I felt at home instantly and was welcomed by so many people at my first class especially Coach Annie! The workouts are challenging and have so much variety so you get a little bit of eve
Great location, very clean facility and amazing staff! Coaches are very knowledgeable, the workouts definitely get your heart rate going. A mixture of power and cardio and more importantly a proper warm up session before it all goes down. Regardless
Best cookies you will find, having be trying to find a great bakery nearby and all of them care more about appearance than taste, but this place was amazing. Best icing Iâve ever had and the cookie was fantastic overall 10/10. Great service too, la
Hands down this is the best vegan food Iâve had so far. I & my daughter drove from the Augusta, GA area for her birthday. Sheâs an 11 year old vegan & finding good vegan food in our area is almost impossible. The drive was well worth it. We will
