Everything was exceptional. We got great communication and accommodations from the front desk. The whole place was neat and appealing. The breakfast was average but there were lots of goodies to choose from. The pool was very clean. MY favorite part was the location and how close the walking distance is from everything. We didn’t have to move our vehicle at all once we began our day. I would definitely book here again.

The room was large and clean as we stayed in the deluxe king. Breakfast was standard, just okay and nothing special. They had eggs and bacon. For the price we paid the whole experience was a big disappointment. Unfortunately they have an odd policy of charging you before your check in on whichever card you have on file which led to issues for us with an overcharge that they were refusing to rectify. It is the only hotel I know of that charges guests at 9am before the check in…I would say if you have to stay here, you should either book direct, not through Expedia or any third party booking agencies, or just simply pick somewhere else to stay. They offered as an apology a free night if we are ever back here, but still refused to refund the overcharge. This seems like a really empty promise, what are the chances as travellers from another country we would ever be back here? Why not just give us the nominal refund? We stayed here due to the great reviews we had previously seen, but their overcharging and inability to rectify the situation left a sour taste in our mouth. For the price, consider staying somewhere else in Seaside like the Best Western for the same price! We had stayed there a few years ago and had a fantastic experience.

Staff were all very friendly from the moment we checked in. The lobby area is nice and has a mellow vibe. If you pass through the lobby, there are some nice outdoor sitting areas and a small playground on one end, which our 4 year old enjoyed. Complimentary ice water and lemon water, as well as cookies that seem to be put out around check-in time, are a nice touch. ||You can tell that there is an effort being made to make the place nice. Our king/balcony room was bright and clean, the bed and pillows comfy, and we enjoyed the modern fixtures in the bathroom.||The included breakfast is a standard hotel hot breakfast (make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, cereal, etc). The staff keeps everything well stocked, and it definitely gets the job done. The noon check out time is also a fantastic feature!||My one critique is the pool. It seems to be the most neglected aspect of the place. It's OK, but it just seems a bit dingy. The ceiling is peeling in several places; and the pool itself was too cold for my liking. There is a relatively spacious hot tub, though, so I warmed up in there. I admit that I may be pickier than most when it comes to the pool, though, and the pool itself was very clean at least.||All in all, it was a great stay and would definitely stay again.

The SaltLine Hotel was a really nice and convenient place, located very close to many different things, such as the Carousel Mall, Aquarium, and the beach. There were also plenty of different little restaurants and places to eat, as well as fun activities like an arcade. The hotel was also kid-friendly and pet-friendly, and they had a little play structure in the back with swings for kids to play on. The rooms were nicely decorated and aesthetically pleasing. I would definitely recommend staying there if you're visiting Seaside. 🏖️🐚🌊.

We've stayed at the SaltLine Hotel two years in a row, as a quick Spring Break overnight trip with our family of 5, which includes our dog Barkley. The kids LOVE the warm chocolate chip cookies at check-in, the proximity to the beach, use of hotel beach toys, and the breakfast buffet, ESPECIALLY the waffle maker and sausage gravy. Our dog appreciates the in-room treats, and special counter service. ;) Staff is always super-friendly! Rooms are tight, but we upgraded to a balcony room this year, which I'd recommend for the extra space to sit outside. (We experienced less noise on the higher floor too.) Beds & pillows are extremely comfortable, and the bathroom towels and products good quality. On-site parking is a great perk too. We'll definitely be back.

I can't believe it will be a year in October! I loved my first visit to Seaside. It was planned as a quick day trip and it turned into an incredible overnight. My Dearest travel friend has stayed here previously and had great things to say so we made sure we were at THE Hotel that could make the trip complete. We actually booked directly with Shalane the Manager and had a fantastic stay. The beautiful photos are exactly what you get once here so take in everything that the website has to offer. I'm excited to return one day soon! Enjoy.... Jeff and Marcia

I don’t usually write reviews, however this place was outstanding! Stayed with a huge group of kids and a dog, and I must say this was a home away from home. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The outside area was perfect for families, fire pits, games and playground were amazing. Breakfast was very filling and of good quality. Most importantly, the staff were very caring, kind and welcoming. Thank you for a great stay!

This is probably the best hotel I have stayed! The service and staff were absolutely wonderful! They were really kind upon arrival and made sure that my stay was good! The rooms were very clean and very cooling once you enter. Not to mention, the location of this hotel is really good! You are at a walking distance from the stores, beach and everything in between! I will be returning here when I visit Seaside again! Exceptional!

It's a long, windy, and narrow road into the day use area, but it's definitely worth it. The coastline is beautiful. The parking was busy when we arrived, and there was a sign saying it was full when there were actually maybe 10 spaces still availabl

June is a great time of year because of all the wildflowers, but parking isn't great (so get there early!) 80% of the hike is relatively easy... but it's that other 20% that reminds you this IS a mountain after all. Don't let that deter you though! J
