Absolutely love this place! Came for the first time today and the woman there (not sure if she was an owner) was incredibly nice! The Taiyaki were delicious! Fluffy waffle dough and the fillings were not too sweet. Delicious drinks, she even gave all of us a free sample cup of ice cream which was smooth and creamy! We will definitely be coming back! 💖
It was my first time trying tayaki. Salt n Cocoa made it special! The owner explained everything! She actually painted the walls and created a extraordinary painting that is hanging on one of them. The boba was above average. Overall, it was a really nice experience. I will be coming back!
I went to Salt N Cocoa for a Sunday sweet treat! I love that it is a family owned cafe. They freshly make Thai rolled ice cream and Japanese Taiyaki (Fish shaped waffle with filling) right in front of you! It was so interesting watching him make my Taiyaki and the rolled ice cream! (Kids would LOVE to see their ice cream get rolled!). I got the Happy Birthday rolled ice cream and a Taiyaki with custard filling. Both treats were delicious! We had a great time getting the rolled ice cream. The kids loved watching them make it which honestly was interesting for me too! The staff was lovely. We’ll be back!
Went today for the first time with quite a large group (about 20 people), and we got an assortment of drinks and desserts. They were all good and personally I can recommend the red bean fish pastry. Made on the spot and had great texture and taste. The biggest surprise was the service that was provided to our group. Sometimes when big groups walk in, businesses are hesitant to seat us or even refuse to do so, but they provided great and timely service in getting all our orders out. Highly recommend and will continue to have our business.
I've been here a couple times, and I've always had a great experience. The business is bright and welcoming, and I've always been greeted. There are several tables, and it's very clean. There are so many options, and the staff is patient and helpful with selecting something. The taiyaki are delicious and made hot and fresh right in front of you. I've had the custard and Nutella, and I can't pick a favorite. I don't know what the recommended serving size is, but I could definitely eat more than one. The rolled ice cream is so flavorful and creamy. I tried the Oreo cookie one. It's a huge portion.
Excellent hot chocolate and chai latte. They definitely take pride in their products. Ham and cheese taiyaki was absolutely delicious. Come and try it!
